  1. No, I really wasn't saying I was going to buy them....Was just throwing it out there to learn something about them, rough idea of market value, etc. Like I said, they would probably be fun to have, would match my LSI splits with trim...which I love.
  2. These look pretty cool, would be fun to have, but are they worth the asking price? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Rare-Vintage-Industrial-Heresys-Pair-/171443441188?ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:US:1120
  3. Wow, Justin, that is some serious iron there my friend!! Still loving my Stereo 15 Special Edition!!
  4. Tell you what, put a vintage Pioneer SX-950, 1050 or 1250 on some Heresy's, and be ready to be blown away.
  5. My vote is for the Yamaha Aventage line. Great features, excellent reliability, plenty of power.
  6. Your location, additional clear photos of all sides and serial number information for each speaker will help your sale.
  7. Could have been anything, I was pretty fried for several years....
  8. Ya never know...... http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/ele/4656128412.html

  11. Wow, as a Michigan Man, I am frightfully embarrassed by the way the Wolverines played tonight, and respectful of how well ND played. I'm thinking Brady Hoke should be looking over his shoulder right now.....but hey, there's Miami next week!! Woooo Hoooo!!
  12. Great! Love to hear networking success stories.
  13. I do.... He also coaches JV baseball. He is paying his dues right now waiting for a head baseball position to open up. Boxx, your son and my brother could be twins...my bro is the varsity football coach at last years New Jersey state champions, and also the baseball coach.....he did track for a while, but it got to be too much.....He's been at it (at the same high school from which he graduated) for 24 years....he loves it, obviously!!
  14. What? and you didn't tell me about it? shame, shame....
  15. Yikes! Nasty looking networks!! You have a new project, not that you necessarily wanted one....let us know how it goes.

  18. I was on the fence even though I had zero problems with my umc 1.I had my 40% card and that is what swayed me. So far I think I made the right choice I have a card too, staring me in the face here on my desk.....but still going to sit back for a bit and see what transpires....looking forward to your impressions.
  19. However, you will have to enlarge the tweeter opening in the motorboard to accommodate this install, correct?
  20. Let me put it this way....I said it several times, spelled it several times, then, showed him the web site on his in store computer.....I think that was pretty fair.
  21. Here it is direct from the Emo site.... What is Upgrade For Life, and how does it work? It’s really simple. Purchase a processor from Emotiva and become a discount holder for life*. As an original owner of a Generation 3 Emotiva processor (UMC-200, XMC-1, and beyond) or generation 2 upgrade certificate, you will receive 25% off any processor model we sell, whether it’s a current model in stock, or a distant model in the future. How is this different than your "Upgrade Certificate" program? Unlike the Upgrade Certificate program, there are no cards, certificates, or coupons to hold onto. After the 30-day trial period on the processor you purchased to qualify for the Upgrade for Life Program, we’ll send you a notification in the mail that you are eligible. Then, simply call or email us to place your next processor order at 25% off the standard price.
  22. I'm not sure what to think about what I experienced today, and whether the folks I interacted with were just "pulling my leg" as it were, or if they were sincere..... Briefly, here's what happened. Had to go out to get some electrical contact cleaner as I'm working on a couple of vintage receivers. I had been ordering from Amazon, but really wanted to get some immediately and get it local. Did some web research and found a large, large, large, musical instrument and supply (national chain) store here that carried it. (shall remain nameless). Go in, find the stuff, and start checking out. Saw a pair of used pro speakers for sale (Community), and just at that time, the manager of the store comes in. He sees me looking at the used speaks, and asks if I'm interested, I say no, but do you ever see any Klipsch pro speakers? He says.....wait for it....."Who?" I'm thinking maybe I fumbled the name, and say it again....Klipsch. He says.....wait for it....."never heard of them". "How do you spell that?" The first thing that goes through my feeble mind is....did I wake up today? Did I drink too much last night? and then....Are you freaking kidding me? l mean, for real? Well, guess what, yes, it was for real. Couldn't believe it. He even asked another guy working there if he had ever heard of Klipsch....nope. "How do you spell that?".... You manage and work in a large national musical instrument, pro gear store, and have never heard of one of the largest speaker manufacturers on the planet that has been in business since 1946, and, and, and, has their corporate headquarters in your own state??? Holy crap, what a day I'm better now, I'm home with my Klipsch. .
