  3. Spurned on by another thread where someone was using a bose soundwavee system, I was wondering if Kliosch ever revealed production numbers for any of its currently line... speficially I wouls like to know precisely how many "stadium" units were made during its first year of production? Aprox would be cool also. Would there be 1,000 units ever made that year... or are there 10,000 units made?
  4. Get him back... buy a stadium and challenge him to a sound off...

    MCACC

use the three point method of calibration... it's FAR BETTER than the LP method. MCACC is great for setting up distance and reverb also... but I generally agree, I have to dial up LF setting post MCACC when I run it but I save that setting on another channel so I have both the original and a modified version and can switch back and fourth between them (I actually have three setting I use depending on source material). I love to blend my own settings.
  6. this recording is INSANE! https://soundcloud.com/ryan-block-10/comcastic-service Calling your cable service provider is usually a headache, but tech journalist Ryan Block's experience was far worse than your typical support call. When Block and his wife, Veronica Belmont, attempted to cancel their Comcast service over the phone, the representative incessantly demanded to know why. The representative was more than persistent — he sounded aggressive and inappropriate based on the eight-minute snippet from the conversation Block posted on SoundCloud. The portion of the call posted on SoundCloud starts at 10 minutes in, which means the entire phone call lasted for about 20 minutes.
  7. I prefer sets of 6 Myrtle Wood Blocks for the bargain basement price of only $43.05
  8. wait... the reference of "KoolAid" in this context means "being with the masses"... don't the masses generally agree that this is merely BS?
  9. Hahaha... didn't see that. Who's the bumpasaurous?
  10. What constitutes corrrect? The slight pinching of the throat before flaring at the horn? And if so how much pinching and at what rate or ratio should the horn flare?
  11. Weak bass on a cornwall... something MUST BE wrong. I second the phase idea because weak bass and cornwall should NOT be used in the same sentence.
  12. Ive often wondered, since I've used autocad and illustraor for years to engineer consumer goods, what the parameters are for a "proper" dispersion pattern... because I could come up with a hundred different layouts. Perhaps someone with actual proof to a good can answer up.
  13. I must be the only person curious as to why Sir Paul and Warren buffet are hanging out eating ice cream...
  14. someone should design tiny little "mass damper" feet for the elite audiophiles.
  15. 418 participants.... anyone who thinks they can accurately extrapolate a trend based on a sample size that small is themselves narcissistic.
  16. before I pass judgement on this report, I need to know a major component there of... what was the sample size.
  17. if they all just realized that Radiohead sounds FANTASTIC thru Klipsch Cornwalls (and they do), we'd have some coverts.
