have you heard it yourself or are you basing those ideas off what others have said? I to am understandably curious about his builds... and the iron he uses.

if you are going as far as you are going OP, how about if you just use the existing port backing plate as a template and make a new port plate with the direct connection of your choosing? you'd have to rewire internally though, which shouldn't be much of an issue. in that way everything is reversible.

looks like they sell astell & kern... very nice these Audeze look amazing... but they are so damn big. which I am sure helps with sound stage.

marinate... it depends. carne asada, yes... definetely marinate with citrus, onions, salt and cilantro and olive oil. steaks... never. only salt and pepper. my favorite cuts (for grilling) of equal qualities and desirability are the Tri Tip, the Brisket and the Rib Eye.

I am not a big fan of sugar and tomatoes... the only time I EVER use it is on my spam when eating it with white rice and Meatloaf, otherwise I never touch the stuff. French Fries get either plain, Mustard or dipped into my Chocolate Shake (< this is actually the best!)
