  1. My question: Is your new place in Texarkana available for tours in May???
  2. I had to pull a similar tailpipe from a bathroom sink for the same issue. The dang thing just did not drain well. This type if tailpiece is made mainly for a janitor's sink. I went back to a regular bathroom sink tailpiece and the problem was solved.
  3. Glad you're OK. I had a lymph node removed at 58. Dumb *** surgeon didn't put a drain in. Went to the ER 3 times to have fluid drained. Ended up in sepsis and spent a week in the hospital. I actually didn't think I was going to make it between the house and the hospital.
  4. My thoughts are with you and your daughter. I broke my foot twice in 2014, so I can understand how difficult this is. I am sure she will have a positive outcome!
  5. Otari 5050II is a great machine. Great sounds come from great machines. I look forward to being able to hear the tapes.
  6. I used silver wire for a while on my Belles. Hated it. It was way too bright. Sold it and never looked back. That was the only time I have ever heard a difference in wiring. I am staying with high quality copper. I don't know why the silver would have made a difference, but it did, and not for the better.
  7. I did that for my B&W Diamonds, 802 and 805. They don't come with metal plates since they are supposed to be bi-wired. I can't tell any difference between the bi-wired and the jumper. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  8. I spend most of my time in my company vehicle. 2014 Silverado with stock sound system. Since I spend so much time in a vehicle, my wish is some type of plug and play DSP to balance out the peaks. The factory systems have so many peaks in the midrange, I can barely listen to audio books. The 2014 is better on music than my 2008 Silverado (with 293,000 miles and counting). I keep toying with the idea of putting a sound system in mine. Judy's 2015 Mustang EcoBoost sounds much better than the stock Chevy systems I have.
  9. Just remember that with an amp, you amplify the noise as well as the signal. I never found it to be a problem, but each area is different. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  10. I wouldn't be so hard on the electorate. The parties have rigged the game on every level. Yes they have. But by continuing to support the current party system, we are guilty by association. People don't get involved with politics because of the nature of the current game. By not getting involved, the game stays the same. It is very hard to change a party's structure, so most give up. I know I did. I have seen some really decent people get elected to office, but they don't stay that way; especially if the go to Washington.
  11. I removed all the plastic from one pair of my CF-2 and did a piano finish lacquer on them. I like them much better. They are in storage, or I would take pic. The pair I have in the garage still have the plastic on them.
  12. We have created the Congress and Legislatures ourselves. Not to say that votes are counted correctly (having run for office and served on election boards). However, we the People, retain the power to change our representatives. That we don't, is a reflection on ourselves, and our judgement.
  13. That's going to be quite a setup! you will love it!!!
  14. Bert and Ernie. As if it wasn't obvious. .. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  15. this is similar to my migraine aura: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/406731410072453533/ Imagine this coming on when you are driving!
  16. WOW! This are very rare from what I understand. I have them also. Starts out as a small dot in the center of my vision, then, starts spreading into a sort of "C" shape until it expands and leaves my field of vision. I didn't mention them to a doc for a couple of years since I thought it might be due to high blood pressure. I had already been diagnosed with a-fib about the same time these started. When I move to Oklahoma, my primary doc (first doctor visit in twenty years, the a-fib was diagnosed at a walk-in clinic since I didn't have a primary care doc) made me go to a cardiologist for the a-fib. It was at the visit with the heart doc that I mentioned the vision thing. He said, oh, that is a migraine. I was shocked since I didn't have headaches with them. I do get nauseous when they happen. A glass of red wine every night seems to keep them at bay. The wife had heard of that, so she pushes a glass on me every night.
  17. I hated seeing LRU, oh, excuse me....UALR lose. I was driving into Missouri for a conference and caught the last few minutes of the game. Sure was hoping this Cindarella team would go a little farther into the tournament.
  18. I have Klipschorns, the wife has B&W 802 Diamonds. Now, who has the greater problem???
  19. The UALR-Purdue game was riveting! Great to see Little Rock (still want to call it LRU) winning. I hope they go farther than anyone expects!
  20. The smile, or the worry of a stroke? ....
  21. I had this happen to both eyes while driving. Been over a year and I still see floaters. Doc just keeps an "eye" on it every 6 months now. I still find it irritating, but not particularly worrying. You are right about getting in quickly to make sure that the retina is intact!
  22. Looks like camel grill cloth. Is so, it would be only the second pair I have seen. Mine are in WO with camel cloth to match my K-horns.
  23. What ya think??? http://www.digitalmusicnews.com/2016/03/15/high-definition-vinyl-will-soon-become-a-reality/
