  1. Do you need a stand alone 120v fan or are you looking for a quiet 12v fan?
  2. The circle of (Klipsch) life. And no, it never ends!
  3. I saw TD7 just a little while ago but you beat me to the post. Looks like Marshall will be looking over his shoulder again.
  4. Mono block = one amplifier for each channel. A mono block anp will amlpify one channel only. If you have a 7.1 system you'll need 7 mono block amps.
  5. I guess so. Turned 59 in June. Where did all those years go?I am loving it though. Bruce I'm right behind you[]
  6. Click the above pic for a little larger view. Yes, that's my bald head reflected in the gas tank.
  7. Dude you're like totally old............................ Seriously, congratulations on a blessed event. Now go buy him a drum!!!
  8. I'd go with the electric fence personally..........
  9. Congrats on the new bike. Black and chrome is the only way to go. Good choice.
  10. Marshall, glad to hear you're doing well, now GET SOME REST. Carl
  11. I think dollar per square inch of viewing area, a projector would be cheaper. That doesn't mean that it would be better in every application. You defininately need a dark room to get great blacks, or so I've read. It makes sense as blacks on a PJ are basically the lack of a projected image.
  12. VERYnice. I wish I could build things like that, but alas, I'll always be a woodbutcher.
  13. I was on vacation last month in Florida. I had arranged with Marshall in advance to drop off a couple of speakers so that he could reveneer them for me. He was telling me that he has been so busy at work that he hasn't had time to keep up with the forum (he's on call 24/7). He's covered up at work, but I would venture a guess that he'll be around as soon as he can. Needless to say he'll have my speakers a while.
  14. Music or HT preference? Budget? Room size? Finish? Size constraints?
  15. I'm not good at sending vibes, but I did say a prayer for you and yours. Speedy recovery, Carl
  16. Leaving the sub amp in the "on" position does not use any more current than leaving it in "auto on" if that helps.
  17. And use jello instead of sand while you're at it.
