  1. 1 - My cabinets do have nails in them. 2 - I believe I used a 1/4 inch radius bit. 3 - Klipsch would not have done the finish as the R in HBR stands for raw. 4 - I had some small bits to fill or glue together. That corner you have that's damaged, was that from the router? If you have the piece, you can glue and clamp it and use a little filler and sanding when dry.
  2. I don't think anyone would come out ahead with shipping... Unless I purchased the replacement first and used that for shipping. My Yamaha name.comes from the automotive side.
  3. I have had CT-120's, A-55-G's, and Crites A4500's in my La Scalas for quite some time and have been very happy with them. I haven't run a sweep on them yet, but I did recently run one on my Heresy's with the same 2 drivers as above.
  4. Thank you. That's why I mentioned placement as I know they're are not in their optimal placement. Until I have my other building built this year, I don't have a place for them, so I play with them where they currently are.
  5. I received my grille boards in and it seems the variation between my H1's and the guy who made these is enough to be off on the mid and tweeter. We took measurements and he's making me another set. I also ran a sweep on each speaker. They are setting in front of my La Scalas and the mic is about a meter away. I'll probably go ahead with a subwoofer. Seating position with both L/R playing:

    Big Cold

I saw a lot of friends posting about Omaha since I lived there for a decent amount of time. They thought I moved to cold country here up at 8k ft, just outside of Denver. It was like 50F warmer at my house. The beauty of a lack of atmosphere is that even when it's well below freezing, if the sun touches the snow/ice, it melts.
  7. I've read them all... Prior to my response here. What do you want me to say different? I've moderated my fair share and have seen plenty of posts like what you posted. I won't say what I consider it, because I can already tell, you won't take it well. I also posted on your FB post. The real gist is, it wasn't page-related. See rule #6. It's not about respect, it's about you not following the rules. Again, I don't care either way, but I do like to point out BS.
  8. I'm over there and also posted. I didn't see the post, but from what I can gather, it wasn't Klipsch related. I don't care either way, except for the "please remove me" post. It's Facebook, you can leave any group you're currently in. No post needed.

    Big Cold

-15 right now at my place, which is 8k ft. But, it's Colorado and will be nearly 50F on Friday.
  10. Currently awaiting me grille boards from an individual that made his own on one of the FB pages, however, I did get these in the mail. I didn't think the old copper badges would quite match, so I ordered some current badges.
  11. Where are you located? I have been interested in upgrading and have a Marantz that is a few years old.
  12. It took some time for my ticket to be answered, with a bit of help from contacting Klipsch over FB, but I wasn't in a hurry and the price I paid for what I was looking for was more than fair. :)
  13. P = 1976 for the Heresy. Correct, the S is for the year:
  14. I've enjoyed my Emotiva BasX A-100 with my modified Heresy 1's. It's just an amplifier, which I have connected to a computer with a good sound card.
  15. Those are looking nice! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B794KNH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got that, but I have WAY more than I need. If you pay for shipping, I'll send you one of my boxes (the one I've already opened, which will still be WAY more than you need) and save the other box for when I do my La Scalas.
  16. Past: GMX A-5.1 RSX-3 (x4) & RCX-4 RPW-10 Synergy B2 (returned the next day for RB-51) RB-51 RF-62 (x3) RC-62 RS-52 RW-12d (x2) KMC-3 Several headphones, all free and given to parents as they weren't wireless. Current: 1978 La Scala 1982 Heresy
  17. Yep, that is the correct tool. Post yours when you're done!
  18. I bought these awhile back, which has 3 different sizes (I believe the larger size was used on all drivers). If you were local, I'd just give you one of these containers (comes with 2) as I have plenty. They require a terminal crimper, which is different than a standard crimper. I did not solder. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KTJ3BK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thank you. I've been as excited with these as I am my La Scalas.

  20. If you're referring to the connections on the back, I used these: https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-BPA-38SN-HD-Binding-Post-Pair-Satin-Nickel-091-1247
  21. The original sound bar. 😛
