  1. To sum up the Stereophile Recommended Components review: The X-10 is intended to remove any mismatch between sourcedevice and amplification stage, the X-10 shows your CD player, DAC, or other source a high input impedence while offering your power amp, integrated, or preamp a low output impedence. Adding more depth and dimensionality to the sound, with more body and weight, the X-10 "brought the X-Ray's performance up to that of a world class CD player," said ST.Offers no gain, however, and has no control functions. "Stereophile rates it "Class A for what it is!" he sums it up. For what it is? Huh
  2. Parrot has seen the overall big picture. Until then you will not undrstand.
  3. They did not play the audio tape of the bear killing the couple. They say the description of the young ladies screams were far beyond screams. She was afraid of the bears. Poor girl.
  4. Throwing in some extra tubes would be lots better. By the way, how much do good sounding replacement tubes cost for the BlueBerry Xtreme?
  5. Not too bad but. 1. The song needed a more in depth guitar solo with a different tone. 2. That head banging part at the end screwed the song up. 3. Also the lyrics and parts of the song are too repetitious and needs more of a story. They need to go smoke some good weed (helps creativity) so they can see what I am saying.
  6. It was not riveting, but it was good. [admin edit]

  10. 6Moons review of Juicy Music's Blueberry was not impressive to me. When reviewer received his Blueberry it had a bad tube. Juicy Music FAILED to test tubes before installing them and blamed the problem on the tube manufacturer.
  11. My B&K system with its remote controlled bass, treble, balance, loudness, volume, and AM/FM Radio sounds very nice and comforting with all of my many different speakers. My tube amp does not.
  12. He has started a new hobby of fine pen craftsmanship. He will be back
  13. Just look for good build quality and a color your wife likes. www.bettercables.com have good build quality.
  14. The better sounding vintage tubes (non counterfit versions) are very expensive IF you can find them and trust the seller. My cheap, bright, and shouty sounding chinese tube amp needs some vintage Mullards to correct the problem I here.
  15. Beautiful Preamp! I just wish the Peach had remote tone controls and loudness button.[] Do you like your system?
  16. A reworked vintage Scott 299B, or 222C would have been cool. They even have tone controls. How's it going Todd?
  17. Dean, I am very surprised you answered. I thought you were ignoring me which is why I never sent you my FORTE network. Would you PM me instructions and your shipping address? kind regards, Keith
  18. Dean, What type of source and amplification are you using with your KHorns? John, My Forte2's sound like crap with my new ASL1003dt push pull amp. But sound awsome with my B&K.
  19. I am surprised no one else recommended a power conditioner sooner. I thought some of you guys were experts. kind regards
  20. Todd, He is a pilot from the front side of Black Sabbath's "Never Say Die" album cover. I just thought it looked interesting.....Do you miss the loudness button?
