  3. Mike , they are Cambridge Soundworks. I believe they are bookshelf speakers. They don't have a horn so I think I'll pass on them. Thanks for your time.

  6. I have 62's and really like them. But, If i were in your shoes and had enough money for a complete "system" I would buy the best front mains (like 63's or 83's) I could afford. And then later buy a center channel, RC64. And so on. In the long run you won't regret it. Good luck.

  14. You might look for $400 7.1 reciever, I perfer Yamaha and a Emotiva XPA3 for $600. Run your 3 front speakers off the Emotiva and your back 4 off your reciever. Just a thought.
  15. What if he puts speakers in the wall and decides he doesn't like the sound? Or wishes they were 3 or 4 inches up or down? Its something to think about. I would go with floor stands. Either way he goes, I hope he enjoys them. Good luck
