  1. The B-3 will not work correctly with the K-55-V driver. Klipsch can source you a replacement diaphragm for you existing driver.
  2. I don't know... $15,000 grand is a lot to spend on a LaScala with a curved back. Maybe you should look at the LaScala II and a good sub if you can't stomach the jubilee's looks. You could spend the rest on cool source gear.
  3. It would be a major pain in the behind to service the lower woofer in a jubilee once it's positioned behind a theater screen and up on its scaffolding...
  4. They are great sounding little amps and a bargain for under $200.00. i will look for a link I had on using and setting them up. They can be used in the factory chassis with all the settings in the right position.
  5. Bob and john, are you measuring indoors or outside? What distance Bob.
  6. Seems to follow what I would expect the power response of the driver to look like. Have you done this same test with titanium diaphragm drivers? How did they look? Can you describe your test setup?
  7. The West Canaan Coyotes didn't make it this year? Bummer...
  8. This might be the guy... SPKR PARTS 4904 CO RD 436 JACKSON, MO 63755 United States 573-204-7720 SPKRPARTS@PRODIGY.NET
  9. Thanks Dennis and Chris. That's just what I am looking for. Any idea where there may be old stock of the 1016? I found a website that claims to sell some made in the Philippines, but not sure if those are good or not.
  10. Does anyone remember the schematic for the piezo crossover that uses an autoformer hooked up backwards to drive a piezo? I think it also had some type of network to smooth out the response. Please post it if you have it.
  11. Yep, Ray. They had these in the same room as the JBL everest a few years back. I sat down for a demo and assumed it was the JBL the whole time, turns out it was the Sony SS-AR1's. The brochure went on about only harvesting the wood at a certain time of year when the grain was the tightest. I am sure the Sony engineers liked actually making something cool.
  12. Bob Crites may have that data. Klipsch will not publish it since the K-31 is still in production. I would expect something close to an 8 ohm version of a forte type woofer.
  13. Sony did in the past and does make high end speakers like this these: http://www.techfresh.net/new-sony-ss-ar1-high-end-speakers/ Roy Kimber uses these to show off high audiophile recordings and they sound very very good.
  14. You might check to make sure the driver is not sitting on the bottom of the cabinet, the KLF-20 mid horn has the nasty habit of breaking off with any type of shock loading.
  15. The KPT-402-MF uses the 1133, a midrange driver, the KPT-402-HF uses the 1132, a high frequency driver, there could be an SKU for a KPT-402-MF/ Grand-HF-T combination, but it would not have an 1133 on the 510, the 1133 would be on the 402. The KPT-942-T and KPT-942-4-T both use the KPT-402-HF which is as above the 402 with an 1132 driver. As mentioned above, they will mix and match, that is the beauty of the pro cinema line.
  16. Hi WC, accurate info is my goal as well, so please accept this info in that context. The 402 with an 1132 is called a KPT-402-MF, don't know the SKU. The Grand-HF-T is a 510 with a K-69, hence the "HF", Makes sense since the 402 with the 1133 is a midrange unit. I would not think there would be a SKU ready made for the 510 with an 1133 since nobody would order that to use as is.
  17. That's a kick butt combination. I have had good luck powering my KP-3002's with everything from flea powered tubes amps to big QSC's. If you want to open them up a bit, I suggest some big pro SS amps.
  18. Yes Richard, you can order a 510 with 1133. Ask me how I know... The pro cinema line is very flexible in allowing one to mix and match stuff. By the way WC, it does not have a canned name like grand HF but could be special ordered.
  19. Who quoted the drivers? I have had a hard time finding a dealer.
  20. As far as I know, there is no factory passive for the KPT-KHJ-LF unit. Did you order the 510 as the Grand HF? What driver is on the 402?
  21. Fini, I may be interested. What kind of klipsch dowry are we talking about?
  22. Yep, I found that too, the only thing the adapter does out of the box is adapt the 1.5" to 2" driver mine have at least three different sets of holes to line up different drivers.
