  1. Speakerfritz, can you explain what you mean by snout? The 1132 originally came in two versions one for a 1.4" driver and another with an adapter for 2" drivers, the 2" is the one that survived and is still available today. i don't believe the 1133 ever came in the 1.4" version, so it would have always had the adapter.
  2. I have a pair of these that work well. http://www.loudspeakersplus.com/product/PC5038/P-AUDIOPC5038/
  3. I like the looks of the raw cabinet. Is it lacquered birch or all the way raw?
  4. The klipsch THX ultra 2 system. it looks like a nice horn.
  5. Awesome concert, I saw it two years in a row. I highly suggest seeing it if possible.
  6. The driver on your CF-4 is a 1" exit unit. i believe there is a titanium diaphragm available, DJK can get you in the right direction on that. The K-1133 is a mid driver and 2" exit to boot and won't work on that horn.
  7. Here ya go, I should have linked this in the response. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/octave-an-rta-for-the-iphone/id386083594?mt=8
  8. If you are going to use the meter to aid in the setup of your home theater, i would suggest getting a RTA from the app store. I can be quite helpful to know where it is loud as well as how loud it is.
  9. Moray, Take the crossover in the KP-450 as a way that klipsch deals with constant directivity. The K-501 is CD and the K-60 driver needs EQ as its response falls off up high. KP 450 HF.pdf KP 450 HF.pdf KP 450 HF.pdf
  10. Hopefully Don has his cornwalls singing by now, another one of those almost 10 year old posts has surfaced.
  11. The seller hopefully can stomach your offer, after all he bough them the week before for $200.00.
  12. Thanks for the great speakers Billy. It was a pleasure to do business with you. i had a great but long road trip from Denver down to Albuquerque to pick up these beauties.Overall it was about 900 miles in about 14 hours. It is hard to pass up a chance to see the beautiful Sangre de Cristo's and that rugged Southern Colorado & Northern New Mexico area. Billy has a very nice setup anchored by RF-7 II's, it would have been nice to spend more time listening to his setup. Mine always end up being more of a hodgepodge and much less dialed.
  13. Got one coming. Thanks for the heads up. I wish there were more posters with the heritage stuff.
  14. A 942-4-T would do what you are looking for. it sounds like you are a direct radiator bass kind of guy, so no reason to talk about distortion and things like that. The 942 would be loafing to produce huge amounts of bass with great presence. The other option would be a 942-T with a 684 subwoofer. The 684 is a great sub and could be easily crossed well up into the slam zone when wanted and left off other times.
  15. I was starting to worry if you liked the jubilees. Are you going to order the 402's with the K-69 or the B&C DE-75?
  16. You have the prototypes! Please post pictures.
  17. I am in. My vote would be for Indy this time. I have never been there and would like to check it out. Late May or Early June would be nice.
  18. I have only seen those on early KG-2's. That very well could be the only model to use them.
  19. I would be very surprised if anyone has a pair of these. I seriously considered buying a pair, but the size of the bass bin would dictate running a 402, the 510 would look silly on that bass bin. That cabinet is tuned slightly lower, but still does not dig much deeper than the 904.
  20. Iv'e seen them with the jubilee pie slice as well as vintage pie slice logos. The oval pro looks best in my opinion. You can order the jubilee pie slice logos form klipsch.
  21. In my opinion, neither of them look good there. You might try the bottom, or possibly an oval pro logo.
  22. Congrats on the Jubilees! I am sure you will be busy rediscovering your music collection.
