  1. Went shopping last week, it was an explosion of holiday ornaments Went to the prime rib buffet at the local native owned casino last Wednesday and they had a Xmas tree at the head of the line. In a desert. Crazy.
  2. You'll be able to party until Skynet becomes self-aware and decides to nuke you and your guests.
  3. i thought you were married? Precisely the reason he needs a dishwasher. If he buys it he'll be looking for a floor-washer on Black Friday next year. After all, women like Mother Nature abhor vacuums.
  4. Probably not an idea that will generate an environment for healthy fish.
  5. At least 60 dead. If this doesn't wake up the leaders of the 'Free World', including Canada, the UK, US, Western Europe, Japan, Australia, etc., to do something about the crazy's in the Middle East and North Africa nothing will!
  6. Except for the face plate, that thing looks like it was owned by Audie Murphy and he took to Hell and Back.
  7. ^^^^ Per above, I'm also interested in this information.^^^^
  8. ? Sorry. It means never mind. I should have just deleted it and left it blank, my apologies. I almost took my moderator hat off, reread my post and deleted what I wrote. Thank you for the clarification, Never remove the Moderator Hat Especially if you are planning to take a crap in it before posting.
  9. Really great looking speaker. I would suggest the WAF on these is pretty high as I own a pair about the same size and construction. They are the only speakers I've owned that the wife actually likes.
  10. I believe nobody ever really owns good Klipsch speakers they are just custodians as they are passed along from person to person.
  11. Veterans Day here is the equivalent to our Remembrance Day in Canada and the UK (11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, 1918). A big Thank You to all of our veteran's and those of our allies. Especially those in the USA our closest neighbor and friend.
  12. Thanks for the great story in your link above. I remember that aircraft being grounded in China but did not know that it was subsequently de-constructed and removed. An incredible example of American 'can do'!
  13. Just as long as it doesn't ask 'do you want cheese with that?' I'll be able to die happy.
  14. I don't think you can go wrong matching almost any SET amp ever made with Klipsch La Scalas including these.
  15. Reminds me of a snowfall, except you can't just shovel it away.
  16. To my taste Diana Krall is very much surpassed on vocals by another Canadian Holly Cole. I own albums by both.
  17. My best sounding tube with the Opera Amps has been NOS RCA VT4-B's. Even the GE VT4-C's will improve the sound a lot from the TJ Full Music. Did the Yamamoto A08-S amp get into the mix?
  18. What part of Arizona? I'll be retiring to Green Valley, South of Tucson then? I'm in eastern part of the Greater Phoenix area. Of course the website should be able to be picked up almost anywhere.
  19. What power tube brand in the Opera Monoblocks and are you using the Opera Pre? These amps are noticeably different sounding between different tube flavors.
  20. Already own one heater in mono-block form which is just about as portable. And yes it is too hot to run unless its well below zero outside. Seems to be another example of how the Chinese are manufacturing to price point now.
  21. Has anyone heard a tube amp made by Line Magnetic Audio? Chinese made, built like a Tiger Tank and weight almost as much requiring a Gorilla to move it anywhere. Saw this at a local Phoenix Audio Dealer but it was not setup to audition:
  22. Found this rather weird Pirate FM Radio Station here in Arizona. It's at 87.9 on the FM dial until I guess it suddenly is not. Their call letters: KWFUCC. They apparently also have a streaming website: ww_w.KWFUCC.com Until I guess they suddenly do not.
