  1. Any local stores carry it or do you go down to Queen Creek to get it?
  2. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649479411-klipsch-audio-papers/ Description 25 historical audio papers from Klipsch. Date on bibiliography is November 1974 with papers dating back to 1941. Each paper stored in a plastic sleeve. Includes Klipsch embossed binder.
  3. My first pair floor standing speakers were SM150's that I bought at the base exchange on Minot AFB. I haven't thought about them in many years, thanks for sharing the story about yours.
  4. The metal stud you are referring to is a floor glide. Similar to this https://www.surplustrading.com/ace-metal-dome-floor-glides-4-per-pack-6-packs-per-box-51211-st505158020 As already mentioned, the riser is attached to the bottom of the speaker with phillips head screws.
  5. I do not believe he was trying to imply that you had. Nice amps, I'm sure they sound wonderful. What preamp did you use with them?
  6. I used to buy latex mattresses from Amazon in this price range. They didn't last 2 years before they lost their support. I'd buy them for a guest room but never to be used as a primary bed.
  7. Don't buy a cheap mattress, your back will thank you. Royal Pedic https://www.allergybuyersclub.com/royal-pedic-cotton-mattresses.html I added this 4" topper https://www.allergybuyersclub.com/3-4-5-inch-royal-pedic-pillow-top-mattress-pads.html I sleep very well. I took my time and waited for a good sale and paid around $6,000 for King, All-Cotton plus box springs and the topper. Best investment I've ever made. Royal-Pedic is hand-made in Beverly Hills, CA
  8. For a couple of hundred more you can get these in walnut with risers and grills https://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-III-Walnut-Pair/292808655364?epid=1774700309&hash=item442cc18204:g:EfoAAOSwLmBb5EJM:sc:FedExHomeDelivery!85022!US!-1:rk:16:pf:0

  10. Nice! Can you share a link to it? I thought about retiring my iPad mini fo the same duty.
  11. I got shingles last year at 40. I was fortunate and had it diagnosed and started treatment on the second day. A week later it was completely gone. It took 4-5 days before I could take a breath without pain. I had 2 clusters each the size of a half dollar coin of what looked like 4 spider bites. One mid thorax on the front right and another at the same level on the right side of my back. It was truly unbelievable how painful that experience was.
  12. I am definitely a fan of the finish and grills on those Cornwalls. Very impressive looking setup.
  13. Haven’t heard of this version before. No grills and no finish, not worth close to $800 imo https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649475295-klipsch-heresy-h3-hiii/
  14. Early Cornwall II and Heresy II were still made from plywood. Not sure if it 100% true but I believe it is those of both models that had round terminal cups which went until 1986 iirc.
  15. I've owned CW I, II and III. In my opinion you will be happy with whichever version you buy so get the speakers that look the best to you. Personally, I get unnecessary anxiety from owning things that I am afraid to touch. Takes the fun out of owning an expensive car, fancy tube amps and fancy speakers.
  16. I didn't get to read through all of the pages on this thread so I don't know if this has been covered already but for the past 15 years I have bought all of my tv's from Best Buy and I always get their extended warranty (~$150). 2 tv's have needed repair and I received full purchase credit to get a new tv that was far superior to the one I was replacing. Same thing with a Pioneer Elite receiver. HDMI ports seem to go bad fairly often on both tv's and receivers so I will always get an extended warranty to protect my investment. With regard to the smart tv/streaming services, I use Apple TVs for that. I like their interface much more than apps on my Sony or Panasonic tv's. Yes it adds another remote to your side table but I think it is worth it. Again, not sure if anyone mentioned that as an option for you earlier.
  17. With the iPhone you can hold down on the image and after 3-4 seconds you will get a pop-up that gives you the option to save image. It can require several attempts.
  18. When I joined this forum I thought that spending more than $300 on a receiver was asinine. That was 10 years ago and this hobby has changed the way I listen to music and my viewpoint on what is a reasonable amount to spend to achieve new goals.
  19. I made my own cables with Canare 4s11 Star Quad, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Canare-4S11-Star-Quad-11-AWG-Wire-Speaker-Cable-W-Banana-Plugs-10-Ft/150829228707?epid=1746297975&hash=item231e1f62a3:g:6rQAAOxyjPNREOZ5:rk:20:pf:0 When I need another set I will just order from that seller since it's easier. They offer lots of different lengths and setups.
  20. A 3 pack would make a nice xmas gift for someone that likes GOOD hot sauce.
  21. I love my big, beautiful Klipsch boxes but these caught my eye. Never heard them before but they look cool, especially without the cat hair grill. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Anthony-Gallo-Nucleus-Reference-3-1-Floorstanding-Speakers-Pair/163335608885?_trkparms=aid%3D333200%26algo%3DCOMP.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20171012094517%26meid%3Da6784f87bc1d44fd90fbd9caee130032%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D382610034251%26itm%3D163335608885&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219
