  1. Cool I plan on doing the same with my combo. Nice ampeg......
  2. Thursday has come and gone what is the verdict? Nice work as always!
  3. @CECAA850 has a set maybe he can throw some pics up and info on ordering.
  4. Looks great! Are you doing the LF cab also? I'm considering putting the new style badges that come with the 396 on my 904's. The old style Klipsch pro badges are my favorite but impossible to find. When I called Klipsch they don't sell the old style anymore. Nice work on the box and grill!

  6. Congrats some very fins speakers you have there congrats!
  7. Dude- I have the same deal coming. How was the overall experience? Did he package them well for shipping, product as described?
  8. Turbox glad you posted this as I’m in a similar scenario. I have kpt-904’s but recently purchased the 402/510 combo. So I’m going to go active and either use the 904 LF with the 402 or with the 402/510. I have a couple of pro amps now (QSC 1804 and Crown K2) and don’t really want to buy all new amps. So I think I’m going to go with xilica 4080, as this product seems to be highly recommended by Chris and others with similar setups. Now I have heard @totalcomfortand @kharmondds Jubs with the crown xti ‘s and both sound fantastic! I got my popcorn ready watching this thread closely. P.S. You have some outstanding gear that 1802 is a beast.
  9. Something is up. How long have you owned the speakers? Have you checked your processor settings?
  10. Depending on your room size these are great for small to medium sized rooms. Not sure if you have considered diy subs. This is not my build thread but I built 2 of these for my Heresy's and after 2 years I still do not feel the need to upgrade.
  11. I have you beat mine are in a 12x12 room! Depending on how far your listening position is will determine if raising them will hurt the soundstage...I would think not but YMMV. I also don't think that removing the bracket will hurt as the 510 has a pretty wide"throw" pattern. If you decide to install grills on the front I have a contact that makes them. I put a set on mine and it dressed them up some.
  12. I'm leaving the rear open on mine. I'll be integrating the bracket with the enclosure. I need to be able to adjust the horn position due to my room size.
  13. I have a couple things to do this year. Man Cave Go all active with the KPT-904's and THTLP. I need another crown xti1000 then I'm set. Garage Im not sure what I will put in there but something BIG and LOUD lol. Patio Install a small system consisting of 4 JBL control 28's and build a sub to go with them. Living Room Put something in there with high WAF, Wife wants something "rustic" looking may have to go the diy route on those.....not sure yet.
  14. I can't answer your question on the veneer but I plan on doing the same for my 510. Congrats on the purchase pics when you get them setup!
  15. Thanks Chad exciting products I like the sound bar.
  16. Not sure, I read that not only are they a little hot but you need to provide some EQ to them (JWC I think mentioned this). I need one more Crown XTI then I'm going active. I don't want to scare off the OP the K510 is a real overachiever and these simply can't be beat for the price IMHO!!!
  17. Another happy 904 owner here. Buy them you will be hard pressed to find something better for the money. As others have said they are voiced to go behind a screen so the 510 horn is 3-4db hot. Best scenario would be to ditch those passive networks and go active. However until then enjoy them in stock form. Looks like those have the B&C compression driver in them, another bonus!
  18. Michael I have a minidsp and really like it very easy to setup. However nothing will make those spuds integrate you should send them to me lol.
  19. Man that is insane 24” drivers!
  20. Hey Jeff what do you have up your sleeve? Buy pro amps if you can, you still need to make the trip to Murfreesboro and hear my 684 and the THTLP.
  21. Impressive setup, very nicely thought out, congrats.
