What happened right before it stopped working? Was it playing and stopped while working? Or did you turn it on and then notice it was not outputting any sound? Do you have any other source you can hook it up to so as to rule out the source being the problem?

how do you design a passive 20 or 30 HZ in line filter without knowing the source impedance and load impedance? Just assume the source is zero and the load is infinite?

I got one of the "used" ones also. It is all water under the bridge now but the seller charged me $48US for "customs brokerage" then when I got the unit I was charged another $67US "customs brokerage and tarif" by UPS. So basically 25% of the unit cost to get from Canada to the US. I am so glad we have a "free trade" agreement with Canada.

What about the B and C DCM50 on a eliptrac lens? Or a BMS4592mid? Like Chris and Moray have stated there is no drop in replacement. Can't go from 2" driver to 1" horn without some funky adapter that would nullify any advantage of the 2" driver IME( and prolly stick out the back of the cabinet). If you go to an eliptrac you're going to have to mod the cabinet or set it on top. Same with the K510.
