    6.1?

    No reason why it wouldn't.
  2. I'm waiting for someone to come out with a more exciting looking front panel. No reason why, I'm just a sucker for animations...
  3. ^^^That's pretty much it. It doesn't necessarily have to be loud tho, just any noise coming thru when nothing is playing. If you turn your speakers up loud enough, you will probably hear a bit of a hiss from anything you have the speakers hooked up to, but hearing it at a low volume = high noise floor.
  4. ^^^lol I'm actually surprised the rest of their outfits haven't gotten any response...
  5. To be honest, I don't even remember where I first heard of Klipsch. When I started looking at a new HT, it was the first brand I thought of and there just so happened to be a dealer in the town where I live, so I was able to go listen to them. I did a little research prior and from what I had read they seemed to have the sound that I was looking for. Although at times I wish I would have demoed some different brands just to get a comparison, but I'm glad I went Klipsch and will probably be Klipsch for life.
  6. You people are old! =^P J/K RIP~
  7. Sounds interesting. I'll have to read more up on it...
  8. I have RB-81IIs mounted using these. They hold great, so if you are willing to go this route, it'll hold the 51s more than well enough.
  9. They don't *have* to be ear height. I would say mine are a little above ear height and I'm completely satisfied, although my center and front tweeters are at the same level.
  10. lol, I can't get it to post. it's a less than sign, p after, with a greater than sign. I hope this makes sense, it won't let me type it out.
  11. How many positions did you run?
  12. ^^^You forgot to mention a whole lot of power =^o
  13. Still a good price. I think I got mine at a steal since I bought it at the same time as the rest of my system.
  14. I suppose. I guess it depends on how much he pays for 2 of them as well. I got mine for $600, so $1200 for 2 115s would be pretty sweet and rock most rooms.
  15. From what I've read, at it's price point the specs are decent and far from mediocre. Are there better choices out there? Most likely, but I love my 115. It sounds fantastic.
  16. Fwiw, decide on a budget but you would be better off running a single sub that hits lower and louder than 2 mediocre subs. Have you heard the 115?
  17. There is an 'official onkyo 818' thread on AVS forum. I'd start there.
  18. What kinda price are you getting those for? Another option to look at is the Denon 4311 for around $1350ish.
  19. ^^^but it has to be good =^P I haven't seen it and really haven't seen any reviews, but the fact that Rihanna is in it kinda doesn't give me much hope...
  20. ^^^you weren't really wrong as you kept saying you think it was your AVRs correction that was fixing it like that.
  21. I've only had an Onkyo 706 and now a Denon 4311. I was sold on the 818 until some people talked me into looking into the 4311. It's a bit more spendy than the 818, but also has more features. I would not hesitate to purchase the 818 tho and pretty much the only reason I didn't is because it lacks subEQ which is capable of EQing dual subs. XT32 is Audyssey's most advanced room correction and does a whole lot more measurements/calculations than the next step down which you find in most mid range AVRs. I can't much comment on the others as I've never heard them, but I'm sure there are lovers of both on this forum...I think derrickdj1 is a big fan of Pioneer.
  22. I have to take the battery out of my logitech remote to reset it quite a bit. Not so much that I'm completely annoyed by it, but more than I should for a remote that spendy.
  23. ^^^I hear ya, there are some movies that don't do much for me, but others that are completely immersive and great sounding.
  24. Dang, wish I had $500 right about now...
