  1. Or the customer will get a voucher toward the next purchase, but there won't be any more product because the company goes bankrupt from legal fees.
  2. I bought the Mobile Fidelity albums because I believed the end product is better. I'm not sure I could pick out the difference between one produced from an analog master tape or a digital master tape. Not defending the company for what they did, and probably won't buy from them again.
  3. @Knight2001DTS, The boxes are on the UPS truck heading to your friend's place.
  4. Interesting to watch the power level meters. Most normal listening with the Klipschorns is below 1 watt. The needles constantly bounce around, of course. When the mood strikes and the volume increases, the meters will reach toward the 10 watts mark. That is pretty loud. Past that becomes too loud, but I notice that when the meters are showing 15 watts, that the 150 watt peak indicators will flash at times. Good to have 10X headroom, even if you don't think you need it.
  5. You can bi-amp your Belle. One channel to power the tweeter only with the high pass set at around 5000Hz and the other channel to power the passive crossover feeding the woofer and mid-range. This will also allow you to EQ the tweeter.
  6. Do you have an electronic crossover for your center channel, so you can bypass the old OEM capacitors in the tweeter section?
  7. @Rodolpk6, Here is a picture of the inside of a Klipschorn top-hat with the grill and horns removed. Note the 3 cross braces under the top panel plus the 2 rear vertical support struts. Yours should have those at least. Yes, it is okay to add another vertical strut if exposure to humidity has caused any sag.
  8. Good to read about your satisfaction. What speakers are they on?
  9. Some components are rack mounted and some are on perforated shelves. An exhaust fan above each amplifier.
  10. The 48" rack was too short for my application, so I made it 80" tall.
  11. Yes, they might bring the fiber optic all the way to your home office, if you sign up for a new account. Won't hurt to ask an account sales rep.
  12. Can you upgrade your limit?
  13. Enjoying getting used to small speakers again. La Scala will produce great sound from a relatively compact design.
  14. @Knight2001DTS, After applying my discount, UPS charge is about $50 for me to send the 5 lbs. empty box with two inner boxes and foam inserts to New York state. Have your friend check with the shipping company he will be using and ask them how much they charge to pack and ship the woofers to you, compared to just shipping the 19x19x19 box @40 lbs. Let me know.
  15. @diamonddelts, I hope you find a way to keep the (Underground) Jubilees that you already own.
  16. I have two empty boxes I can give you, sized for 15" woofers and the fitted foam inserts plus an outer box they both fit inside. Due to the 19x19x19 size, UPS will charge us/you about as much shipping fee to your US friend as if they were loaded. Might be cheaper for your friend to buy some boxes or hopefully someone local to him can help. What city is he in?
  17. Mineral spirits are safe for wood and a good way for softening glue when scraping and wiping off the residue.
  18. Actually, on the site linked, the Dragon power cable is $5400/each for the 1 meter length and $9800/each for the 2 meter length. If one uses a short regular extension cord on each 1 meter Dragon cable, a person can save a whole lot of money!
