  1. Agreed. Storage is cheap. If you're going to rip CDs, store them as FLAC.
  2. I've agreed with @ClaudeJ1 so many times on this. I'll do it again. I have both Khorns and LS with sub. LS with sub sounds better to me. Not by a little bit, but by a lot.
  3. Yes! I couldn't agree more. Not only the notes themselves, but the thump and attack of those bass notes.
  4. You’re probably right. These are near me if anyone needs me to check them out.
  5. Thanks to@hornographic for finding this.
  6. So why has nobody posted the K-400 Christmas image yet? I can't find it but I'm looking for it.
  7. Very similar. I used the Penn-Elcom handles here: https://www.parts-express.com/penn-elcom-h7154z-spring-flex-cabinet-handle-pennbrite--260-700
  8. I solved this by using casters with sockets. When the casters are removed (they just pop out), the speakers sit maybe a dime's thickness off of the floor, and to be honest, in my application and to my ears, they sound the same whether the casters are on or not.
  9. Aftermarket. I started with a factory bin and added trim and handles and a pocket in the back for a speakon connector.
  10. This is where I'm headed. Hopefully all splits, though!
  11. Brandi Wynne from the band Ozric Tentacles mentioned this in an interview. They were mixing an album in Ft. Collins. CO at the time, and she said that she’d listen to test mixes in the car, and it’d get too bassy on the way up and too trebly on the way down. Somewhere around the 2:15 mark:
  12. yes you do. come get my THTLP and it'll help you do that, I promise!
  13. Red for lows, Yellow or Green for mids, and Violet for highs.
  14. I've used coversandall.com a couple of times.
  15. Me too. I'd like to meet all of you. I have been known to drink, but I would totally stay away from it for the weekend if I could learn even a tiny bit from y'all.
  16. cold and snowing and icing here. i'm not worried, though. i have plenty of milk and bread.
  17. that's for hunter safety. if you accidentally put those in the woods you might never see them again. well, except for those orange horns. there they are! I knew they were around here somewhere.
