Can you explain to me how changing speakers drivers,crossovers,electronics, etc is different than eq. Changing sound is changing sound is it not? Not all speakers sound the same so sound is alltered from the original no mater how you change it. How is this not a true statement? Im not very smart so enlighten me😎.

They have them for 280f speakers also. Claim 19 hz bass low frequency. I wouldn't see how that would be good but would like to hear it on someone else speakers lol.

Get a schiit loki 4 band eq. It will not only work great on the 260 it will work on any speaker you use in the future! I use it on the rp280f speakers and it tames the highs and adds to the mids. Truly a great little item. It gives lots of control but not more than I want or need.

I love my 280s for the price and the sound. I would love to try some fortes? Im sure they rock and would think the bass would be nice also. Peace!

With alittle eq you can get great mids out of rp280f speakers. Pull the highs back a fuzz and bump up the mids alittle. Most speakers sound better with with some eq in my very unimportant opinion!

You can get rp280f speakers on amazon for 1078 dollars. They sound great!

I like my a-300 amp very well and it works great FOR THE MONEY. Its not magic and I'm sure there are better amps but for my system and my tired old ears it makes me happy! FOR THE MONEY. I love music an don''t change much in my system as long as it makes all the clean clear sound required by me.

My system always has a more liquid sound when its raining. With less air in the highs! And yes I'm kidding.

And also says a lot about the klipsch speakers! On the run by pink floyd was playing and my toy fox terrier gracie was looking around trying to figure out who was running across the room, It got a chuckle and I thought it did sound quite real. I have my own nipper!

I have a 2014 tundra set up for towing a smaller 5th wheel. Air bags, nitto dura grappler10 ply tires,extended mirrors, elec brake, If your not using your truck for mudding and want a great all around tire the dura grappler is it. Handles great and people are getting crazy miles out of a set. I know a guy who uses them on a work truck loaded down with tools and pulling a 17000 lb trailer most of the time and he got over 60 thousand miles out of a pair! 90,000 is not uncommon on a regular truck. It will last forever.I just turned 256,ooo on my 02 camry work car. Im going to spend about 1500 buck on a tune up,valve cover gaskets,timing belt etc and get it ready for 5 more years of driving to work and its great for parking lots. No worries like when I drive my tundra. I just saw how old this post was lol!

I just got a pork butt off the smoker for my cheat day for food one day a week. 12 degrees and 0 degree wind chill. I guess I'm nuts! I use hickory alot but I've been using peach from a tree my brother cut down and its also great for smoke. The wife and I love BBQ! Letting it rest for a few hours and then going to town on it! Ive got a place set up for smoking with walls and a roof on a concrete pad. Lights also. I make my own rub and smoking/grilling meat is about all I can do.

I use a emotiva a-300 with my rp280f speakers and I'm very pleased with the sound. I use it with the matching pt-100 preamp. I don't have any of the problems you did. I know the preamp effects the sound and I'm not sure what you used for a pre but I love my a-300. Sorry you were not as lucky.

I just picked up a usb cable for the pc to the pt-100. I was just using the bluetooth and it sounded very good for background music but the usb is much better when listening closely. I will be waiting to hear what you think red. It really is a great little piece!

Im listening to my pt-100 right now with the audio technica m40s and the loki for eq. Using the emotiva etc-3 cd/transport and Ozzy is sounding so fine on the randy rhoads tribute cd. My ears are not that great and maybe thats a plus. Still loving the schiit loki also. The pt-100 is very usefull. Ive been using bluetooth for spotify but getting a optical cable for the pc. Use coax or cd input for cd player. I listen to fm a lot also and I think is a real plus. Remote was tough to learn but now its very easy to get around on and I love it. Peace!

Im so sorry! They are such a big part of my life I don't have kids so dogs get treated real good around here also. I can tell your the same way. I buy fresh cold cream in the bottle like was delivered many moons grasshopper :)! The stuff that splits into two layers if you let it sit. It’s killer in homemade ice cream also. It’s bottled in KY but I don’t remember the brand
