I have 3 seasons of experience with the Continental Winter Extreme Contact tire on a front wheel drive sub compact vehicle. It is an excellent tire and its performance was even better than i expected. I put 24,000 miles on them and they still have lots of tread remaining. Grip was so good that on a packed snow surface the front end would turn so well you could make it oversteer like a rear wheel drive car would act. I highly recommend them.

    RIP Kieth Jackson

Most of my life the most important sporting events were announced by this man. His voice will always resonate with me.
  4. Very good advice, and this man has the experience of which he speaks.
  5. When I have a meeting at one of our clients office they have parking spaces labeled "Fuel Efficient Vehicles Only". So when I park in one of those spaces in my 485HP Scat Pack I always think, yup 485HP and 23MPG Highway is pretty fuel efficient.
  6. There are a few preowned Hellcats in the mid to high $40's around here for your 707HP fix.
  7. The pic of the young lady sitting on a speaker? Not sure where those were posted.
  8. The 1500HP from a 4cyl is impressive, I would be very interested in the weight and 60 foot numbers. A quality build for sure and I do like cars that are outside the box.

Speaking of lunch, we still need to go sometime soon.
  10. My approach is go to blu-ray.com and search for concerts. Just now it came back with 177 matches. Also on the left hand side of the page select by genre and then music. Find the ones you are interested in and then go to your favorite purchasing site and see if they carry it. I have purchased 99% of my collection from Amazon.
  11. Are you using the RP140SA as a height or surround speaker? Since you mentioned setting the ceiling distance I assumed as a height speaker aimed up directing sound off the ceiling. Looking at the Denon x2400h there are no height speaker outputs as in the x4300h/4400h. But that would seem Atmos would mix the height sound objects into the surrounds for even more sound out that speaker. Are you getting any sound at all or just not alot of sound? The reason I ask is because when I added a second sub to my Denon and was to lazy to rerun Audyssey i got no sound out of the second sub, what I found out was that during the initial run of Audyssey since there was no speaker connected the outputs were disabled and that was indicated on a separate menu screen. Also one last thing is I have noticed that on some rental disc the Atmos soundtrack has been omitted. I cant remember if it was Hacksaw Ridge or Deep Water Horizon but there was no selection for Atmos only the DTS and or Dolby surround settings.

    HBR - metro Indy

I am close to this place if i can be of any service to anyone.
  13. I can say I did not have great success with this method. It makes total sense, but i did not hear much if any difference crawling around. Possibly if my room was larger.
  14. my son needed a headphone adapter and that is where he wanted to go find one. Looked it up on my phone and all the Anderson stores were labeled permanently closed with that Rushville store being my closet one as well.

RIP Bob Glidden. The fact his accomplishments were achieved with race cars built in a small shop behind his house in rural Indiana makes them even more special to me. His story of how he needed to quit his job as a mechanic at a local Ford dealership to have the time to go race full time and the impact it would have on his family if he failed is a great representation of the man he was. A great man, an even greater family man and one of the fiercest competitors there was when he put on that helmet. Glad I had an opportunity to meet and talk with him.

  17. I thought Chuck was in Kokomo? Unless it is a diversion.
  18. The entire ad is disturbing. The map shows him as 5 minutes from my office. No, I wont go check it out for anyone, at least not alone and unarmed
  19. Only two other houses beside mine even display the flag of the United States of America on my street. College and sports flags out number it. At work looking out the window of a mixed business and residential area, not one flag to be seen. I have not had one person mention it to me in my daily activities. The local news gave today's history 15 seconds buried deep in the broadcast this morning. Other forums i visit have little to no post of the topic. Google for instance always has national cat day or national doughnut day or something of the type, but no mention of today. Those are my observations.
  20. When Japan declared war on the United States of America. Thank you to all who protected our freedoms then and now. It is sad how much today's society forgets this act of war against us.
  21. That is my assumption as well, so you can not make a mixed drink in the parking lot.
  22. I do not even care anymore if Indiana gets Sunday sales. We are all trained to make our purchases the other 6 days of the week. I did hear the bill for cold beer sales for grocery and convenience stores failed to pass. No big interest groups at work there. The big irony of it all as Ceptorman mentioned is that currently a brew pub can fill your growler on a Sunday and you can carry it out. Another irony is that a liquor store can not sell a cold soft drink, but can have a soft drink machine right outside the exit door.
