Maybe more a "salesman," than a "friend."

Just found the @The History Kid redid one (see pic). Cool But want it a bit more "integrated," meaning amp/TT "inside" the wood ... not just on a shelf.

Toying with the idea of retrofitting a vintage stereo console. Gut it ... put some Heresy's in it with a Marantz amp and TT/CD player. Anyone done this? (Or am I crazier than most of us here?) Found this console ... going to take a look at it in the next couple of days

At least a bottle a day ... haha; count on the "good stuff" ... at least $30/bottle (That's why I have to drink cheap wine ) PS ... I'll talk to our cleaning lady tomorrow

Sure sounds like a receiver problem to me Those Klipsch (outdoor?) speakers are fairly efficient (95dB); you can drive them with a much smaller amp. Try disconnecting "one" speaker and check again ... try the "other" speaker. Next try "speaker B" connection. Good luck

Hi @boston_klipsch ... interested in the Parasound ... hoping to get some input So; can someone tell me WHY I should buy this? Have an Onkyo AVR (RZ-810) ... only using 3.1 sound (L/R/C Heresy's and 15" 1000W sub ... also separate Marantz 2252B on KPT-904 speakers ... and zone 2 to power separate rear Yamaha CR-610 with Cornwall's. Cover plate on PCB board ... had to put the caps on the bottom to use this (red wire is "gone" )

Looks like a nice unit ... one item to be careful about Most newer AVR's have HDMI "pass-through" to pre-amp and zone outputs ... but NOT all HDMI's are passed through ... was disappointed when I found this in the "small print" when I upgraded my AVR (only HDMI1-3).

Almost "scored" a set of these in "walnut."

Try a pair of Altec's "Voice of the Theatre." Yeah ... as ugly as Jubilee's.

Awesome ... let us know what it sounds like. (Have a Marantz 2252B and love it But my local stereo shop has a 1200B for $700. ) Maybe he'll trade for my VTA ST-70 tube amp.
