Preamp with two outputs?

Many suggest rolling in some higher quality EL84 and 12AX7 tubes in (Ampex, RCA, Sylvania come up on ePay regularly for a reasonable price) and you have a pretty good starter tube unit. I used mine with a CD player input, no pre-amp required. Gobs of advice out there on the interweb about which tubes/mods to try.

how about a few more pics of your Georgian? Curious, is your EV woofer 4 ohms like the PWK specified unit in the Khorns?

I totally agree...I was trying to give a bit of opinion on value.

The drivers and x overs alone are worth more than the asking price as long as they are in good working order..they appear pristine from an appearance standpoint. The RP-302 tweeter brings >$300. alone.

70s Harman Kardon 430 630 730 930 receivers are getting popular, but you should still find some very reasonably priced on Craigslist, Offerup, etc. A search on the forum will pull up lots of positive reviews/recommendations...

To all: just curious why the preference of the LS over the Khorns for pairing with 300B? Is it because of the LS lower bass output creating less power demand on the amp vs. the higher efficiency of the Khorns? (full disclosure; I also have both heritage speakers and have been dreaming of a 300B in my future)

As I understand it, the early LaScalas also came with the Jensen P15LL woofer, ...anyone with knowledge of how these sound compared to other K-33s in the LS?
