Life with kids, I'm too old for this

The youngest (6) decided to call 911 today reporting that the oldest (9) was blackmailing her. Seems that our son told our daughter that he wouldn't do something during a video game unless she did something in the game that he was demanding. She considered that to be blackmail and since that was against the law the appropriate response was to call the police.

Never a dull moment around here. Like I have never had a conversation with them about what 911 is for.......

That's funny, but she thought she was right.

A few years ago when the grandkids were little one of them was playing with a phone and pressed 911, we caught it and tried to explain but the police said they had to come out. The came out and we had to explain again what happened, they weren't happy and they didn't think it was funny.

Calling 911 on your brother is better than using mommy's smart phone to video mommy & daddy "wrestling"..............and then showing it to Grandma.

Actually no its not. Calling 911 is much worse under those conditions. A 911 here too requires the local enforsements to haul *** out to the callers residence which has its own risks regardless if you get on the line and say you don't need them.

Granny knows what humping is and she has done it herself so she would understand. Heck she could probably offer some tips.

Sheesh............I heard ya the first time.

You could be right but would you want your Catholic mother-in-law watching you bop her daughter? Heck, the kid might call 911 and say daddy's hurting mommy.........she's screaming..........and I have a video on her phone.

You are right, the 911 call is worse.

We have summer camps that are held on our college campus. This morning at 3:00 am, our safty and security officer got a call from the county. Someone on campus was calling 911 and hanging up the phone. So the S&S officer calls the security guard on duty, so he runs up to the main build and goes into the lobby and finds a group of girls around the phone dialing and then hanging up. Needless to say, a group of 12 year olds is heading home and not finishing their week at camp.
