Three more days....

Recommended Posts

Till I get married! Man time has just flown by, I can't believe nine months have come and gone since I proposed. I can't wait to start this new chapter in my life with my beautiful wife to be here in a few days. I just want to say thanks again to wuzzer for helping me out in getting the perfect engagement ring and more recently the perfect wedding band for me and my little lady. As always Mark went above and beyond making me a happy customer, thanks again bud! Anyway we'll be heading to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We're gonna stay five days on the Kona side, then five days on the Hilo side. We're gonna leave on Monday, and we're super excited, just wanted to share with you all.

Last September I proposed to my wife by filling out my half of the marraige application and leaving it on her desk....

Well how did that go over ?

I still can't figure them out so I have to ask.

Better than you might think. She quietly woke me up the next morning and said " I guess this means we're getting married." To which I replied" Guess so." We both smiled and she let me go back to sleep.

Once the ring came in from the jeweler we drove to the county seat and the mayor of that town did the service. No fanfare, no party, no picture. Not even rice. Just a gift check from my parents that covered the cost of the service and the aplication. She did call my mother on the cell during the drive home.

Congratulations, I liked the idea but I didn't know how she would take it.

Same thing for us, but not the mayor, although we did have a party at a local bar with everyone there.

remember, momma is always right, and when she's wrong.......figure out how to make her right.

that's it. that's all you really need to know.

Gnatnoop has rule #1 perfect..........sometimes it's much easier to be wrong, don't matter in the long run anyway.
