Islander
If the "threat" was standing that close to our hero, a firearm would not be the most appropriate weapon anyway. As well, if you're practicing your quick draw thousands of times, as he mentioned, odds are that sooner or later something will go wrong. Moderators dtel Posted July 16, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2011 pretty good recovery, i'd say.... Yep good recovery, considering he SHOT HIMSELF in the leg. [] [8o|]
sunburnwilly
HaHaHa , and then his training kicked in , and by training he means shouting explitives , lol ! Poor guy got psyched out by a paper target .
Gilbert
ROTF, LMAO that was hysterical..... I'm dying over here, with tears pouring out my eyes. An IDPA tournament shooter wannabee. If he'd a placed his target just a few more inches away, that very likely would not have happened. Score 1 for the paper target.
Islander
Wonder what he was saying to the target just before he drew? "You talking to me?" Or "Do you feel lucky, punk? Do ya?"
Groomlakearea51
Apparently it happens more often that the public knows. Bubba gets a gun, gets cocky, gets shot..... by him's own self.... [H]
Rivernuggets
Makes one rethink a few things. I hope. Not to thread-hijack.....BUT here's another. This is more of a real close call. The magic happens at 18 seconds. "We're not doing that anymore"......classic.
Pete H
Not exactly NRA material. The liberals will use this against us. Just goes to prove that stupid is everywhere.

Islander
this is how it's done.......... I think the attraction in that clip is not the gun, but the "Gainax Bounce". Not that there's anything wrong with that...http://www.animevice.com/gainax-bounce/22-854/Here's an example:
jacksonbart
When you have something that takes that kind of responsibility and your human, mistakes can happen. He handled it rather well and all in all it went as well as a mistake with hand gun can go. I have been in a minor auto crash once (knock on wood) since driving regularly in the last 23 years. If your at any thing long enough, your gonna, or some one near you is gonna ***** up.
Mighty Favog
this is how it's done.......... Somewhere around here I have a mid-80's poster along those lines from Intertec of Tech-9 fame. ......it's a bit more "educational" though.
