jt1stcav
Jim, I wonder why the trigger guard has that "point" on it, and not rounded. Seems that might get hung up on a holster. I haven't a clue, Gregg, since every Glock's trigger guard is designed that way. Maybe as a finger rest, although your finger shouldn't really be that far forward but instead underneath the guard when not actually on the trigger. Even aftermarket holsters work for Glocks, so I hear...I guess there aren't any issues with the guard being pointed at the end, as far as I know. No holster hangups to report here.

Cal Blacksmith
I seem to remember the front of the trigger guard being shaped that way to have a place for your off hand to rest, at least one finger of it anyway! In the Socialists state of Cali, while technically it is possible to get a CC permit, the truth is it is nigh impossible to get one. You have to be an actor or politician to get one[:^)]
Marvel
In Georgia, it is no longer a CC license, just a Georgia Weapons Carry License (also includes certin knives). It doesn't have to be concealed, although I would not want to specifically be calling attention to myself... Bruce
Zen Traveler
Most states have really come around to CHL permits. It's good for the country. And amazingly, it's not been the wild west with all these extra guns on the street like the fear mongerers would have us believe. Who'd have thunk it.... Do you have a link for this statistic? I'm sure most people who have been victims of a store/bank robbery, mugging, car-jacking, etc would have all said the comments. My guess is that most Americans have not been involved in any of those scenarios and having a gun could end up being more dangerous for the owner. JL Sargent
Do you need a permit to have a gun in your glovebox? Just had a gun retailer here in Alabama say that you don't.

I've never heard of anyone committing suicide with a seatbelt nor of any non-vehicular accidents involving them. Otoh, we all know people who have had accidents/incidents with guns. Thaddeus Smith
one unproven opinion is no more valid than another unproven opinion, which, from what I can tell is all that exists in this thread. i'm perfectly comfortable co-existing with our different opinions if you are. Thaddeus Smith
wasn't for statistics. that was a resource for interested people to go and get a quick view of carry options in their state.

I contend you won't find one person dying because of misuse of a seatbelt, but I can find countless articles where people have been killed or injured with a gun. Those are the cold hard facts until you post otherwise.
