Don Richard
I like how he locks up the back tires and lets the fronts pull him through the corners.

Heh, I've never heard of him nor seen this type stunt pulled (even though it was a controlled stunt) See what living in a cave with Jubilee's will do to you? JJkizak
I don't know if I would trust him to be my mechanic with the "Check Engine Light" on during those histronics. JJK
jhoak
I don't know if I would trust him to be my mechanic with the "Check Engine Light" on during those histronics. Considering the kind of revs that litle 4-banger is turning I'm thinking that the original ECM is long since out of the picture. It would be a gas to have a car set up to toss around like that though. From the looks of the marks on the streets the course had been "practiced" a few times prior to recording the video. So what is involved in basically shutting down a large part of San Fransisco to do this? Panacea Engineering
Jeff, They usually do "Shoots" like this on weekends. The crews are out of frame and after the car passes, They remove the barricades and allow regular traffic to flow. Only the course is restricted to regular traffic and they take great pains to keep vehicles and the public "Out of Frame". Not really much of an impact to normal traffic and it takes great cooperation with the local Police. The permitting for something like this takes much longer than the shoot and it usually cost a great deal for the extra Police and City workers that are involved, who are usually getting double time....... I was stationed at The Presidio when they shot Bullet. That was quite fascinating....!
Panacea Engineering
I forgot to mention, it was quite funny that he took Lombard (Supposedly the world's crookedest street) going UP rather than down. Yes, It would be a real trip to take a lap or two in that car.
