The US topper was pathetic - The Singing Nun by the Dominique's.

I'm going with the UK's I Wanna Hold Your Hand. If you don't know the artist name, then you should not be a member of this forum

Yes, we know the name of that band.

The other performer was The Singing Nun. Her biggest hit was Dominique. Her life story was amazing and tragic.

Kiss you all over//Exile.....[:(]...WTF .....I'm lookin for another one.......I do know that the world water speed record was broken on my birthday at 317mph set by Ken Warby in Australia. Since I'm a gearhead I'll stick with that fact...That record still stands today as the fastest anybody has ever traveled on water.

I just got done reading Pricilla"s book for the second time, I read it when it came out in 85, some very cool stuff, guy loved to have fun and shared everything with all his buddies ( memphis mafia ) he must have given away over 50 new cadillac"s and tons of cash. I got to see him several times as a kid and have not seen anything even remotely close since, truly amazing man, on and off the field.....Roost

Hmmmm....

I'll have to think about that for a while. [*-)]

BTW, I met Priscilla P. while working at WHBQ TV in Memphis years ago. It was after Elvis passed away. She was very casual and relaxed, and I think came to the studio by herself. Looked like the girl next door.

I'll have to think about that for a while. Confused

Well, I always assumed for some reason or the other you were somewhat younger than I. "Ghost Riders..." came out in June, 1949 and was still number one on August 6th, my BD.

Dave

PS - Perhaps a re-issue for you? [:P]

It's just that my hair hasn't turned gray and my wife is HOT.
