Moderators dtel Posted May 10, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 10, 2014 May in Indy Very nice Amy I would love to go see that, I love the water behind the car. Why do they do that in the rain ? Do they race in the rain ?
Moderators Amy Posted May 10, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 10, 2014 Very nice Amy I would love to go see that, I love the water behind the car. Why do they do that in the rain ? Do they race in the rain ? Thanks! This is a picture of qualifications for the very first Indy Car Grand Prix at the track (held tomorrow). Since it's a road course, they do use road tires and race in the rain. Regular Indy Car racing is not rain-friendly, In fact, the track has to be completely dry. I hope it catches on. It was fun watching the big name 500 drivers run in the rain for once!

sunburnwilly
May in Indy Pretty cool that you have something on my bucket list in you're back yard ! Dat' Track !!! Don't care for the changes they did to the last corners of the GP track but it's definitely safer compared to the GP track .
