Full Range
The dog was getting grumpy and agitated under the pergola Went out to investigate and found a Blue Tongue Lizard 🦎 Under the seat This species is native to Australia and actually has a blue tongue and grow to about 15 inches Took some photos of him while he was calm under the seat and then caught moved him to a safer location Little fella was hissing and making his body larger to scare me Once caught he was OK

Moderators dtel Posted October 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 29, 2017 If you were to see that lizard, just the side part between the front and back legs you would think it's a snake, looks just like one.

Yes they can be mistaken for a snake However they can handle snake bites and won’t back down
sunburnwilly
Cheoah dam aka Fugitive dam located on US 129 between Robbinsville and Deals Gap NC . I don't think Harrison Ford or anybody could survive that .

Maybe I better check my video.

Been past there, I have a pic of that dam but it was not flowing water like that. We stayed in Robbinsville for 10 days a few years ago, we love that area. Robbinsville was the first town we have been to where the whole town has wifi. We just took off each day sightseeing, our daughter and husband trailered their motorcycles up there and went riding each day. We went a couple of days to the dragon and parked in one of the bigger curves and watched everyone drive by, there is no telling what kind of bike or car you can see. One of the prettiest waterfalls we have seen was off the skyway on a short road almost to the next town, Tellico plains.
Moderators dtel Posted October 31, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2017 Was looking through pictures when I had to put everything on a new hard drive, forgot about this one from 2013. It's from off the back of a ship parked offshore of Belize early in the morning.
