BigStewMan
I wonder if this is the place i saw on tv. I watched a show on the Food Network and one of their celebrity chefs visited a place like this … he said the fake stuff actually tasted very similar to the real stuff. oldtimer
Maybe they used plant blood in the making of the movie.

moray james
Not necessarily people. http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/technology/secret-of-new-veggie-burgers-plant-blood/ar-BB85C5M this is really messed up on a whole bunch of levels. it's right up there with making a non alcoholic drink substitute that alcoholics can drink at parties, tastes just like alcohol but it's not. Misses the point of going Vegan. Just my two cents as a meat eater now almost three years in to a no meat no fish no dairy no fat/oil heart attack survivor. Best regards Moray James. Congratulations and best wishes. I don’t each much meat and actually never miss it. Could go the rest of my life without it and be perfectly happy. CECAA850
Misses the point of going Vegan. I thought being Vegan was about what you put in your body and what you don't eat, not the taste of things.
CECAA850
Nothing against Vegans by the way. Wish I could pull it off.
jacksonbart
Well for you proper Catholics who believe in transubstantiation, just leave the wine and cracker in your mouth and wait.
oldtimer
I've tried that. It made the cracker too bloody.

Certain things can only be bought at certain stores, but it is getting better. Finding non GMO and food not loaded with sugar or high fructose corn syrup takes soem effort. Soy milk and almond milk is way more expensive. Portabella mushrooms, apsaragus and other items are also more expensive than meat. It is worth it, but definately not less expensive (well, in restaurants it is generally less).
