I used to run 140-150 miles a month.  Now I joggle about 40.  Then and now people ask what I'm training for, assuming that one wouldn't be out on the roads if one didn't have a special race in mind.  Back then and now I tell them that I'm training for old age.  Getting old is not a spectator sport.  Use it or loose it.
