mike stehr
I'm using CT-125s with Cornwalls...a upgrade to a B&C driver? I'm definitely tempted, as I like B&C stuff...

What crossover are you using with these? Looks like nice tweeters. Keep us updated regarding how they sound compared to the K77's. Guest David H
The B&C DE-120 is an excellent driver, I have been using it since 2013 on my Eliptrac HF. Currently the DE-120 is being phased out and being replaced by the even smaller DE-110, also a great driver. In the picture, it look like maybe a thread on adapter on the original CT-125 horn to mount the B&C driver. Can anyone confirm?

Guest David H
ALK did driver comparisons recently. Link - http://www.alkeng.com/trachorn.html Scroll down to B&C tweeter Edited September 27, 2015 by GotHover
Cmh2os
I have this driver on a wooden elliptical horn. It is an awesome drop in upgrade for the LaScala. I installed them in August and I love em! However, this is not exactly news! I purchased mine from ALK and he has been offering these drivers since 2013. I believe they are actually being phased out in lieu a smaller driver with comparable specs. Edited September 27, 2015 by Cmh2os
kg4guy
B&C makes some excellent drivers Tom Danley used them at Sound Physic Labs in the early 2000's and still does at Danley Sound Labs.
Montego
I'm using CT-125s with Cornwalls...a upgrade to a B&C driver? Good question. I put CT-125s in my Cornwalls but I still prefer the sound of the K-77s.

kg4guy
Got one in to compare to the K77 and first impressions are the CT120 much cleaner open sounding. Edited October 1, 2015 by kg4guy
jimjimbo
Realize you just received them, but would really like to have a comparison with different types of music, levels, etc. And am I to understand that these are direct drop in for the 77's, no crossover changes?
