  • Book-Matched Wood Veneer
  • Heresy Logo Nameplate
  • Silver Lust Grille Cloth
  • Matte-Black Slant Riser

"regular" H3's are $2k/pair, so it seems like a logical uptick in price for a limited edition anniversary run.

$3200 a pair?  You really think they'll go fast?

Yes. Many have already been accounted for. Trust me, I was surprised too! Not because the speakers aren't worth it - they are truly breathtaking - however, that is a certainly a lot of coin.

Hopefully there'll be a set hanging around at Hope next month to look at.  I'll be sure to wear a drool guard.

Plus we tend to forget that we are not just buying a speaker, we are "buying a piece of American audio history." B)

I got a pair. That only leaves 69 pair.   :)

I have heard that every 70th anniversary k-horn was already accounted for like a month ago, and those are what, 17 grand or something.  I cannot confirm.  Only 35 pair of those made though.

Love the veneer, for sure a step up in attractiveness.

I guess I'm not as old school as I'd like to think, I really like the new badge.

When does the La Scala II get special treatment ?

This time around it's only the Heresy and Klipschorn. We'll see what happens for the 75th Anniversary.

In sound quality, or just looks?  What is the sonic difference, if so, and how was it done?

If they just went on sale today, how could "most" of them be "pre-sold"?

Not that I'd ever pay $3200 for Heresy III's... But that statement makes it sound like "most" of them won't be available to the public?
