bop29291
***Update***3-2-2019 Price Correction $350 ***Update*** 2-2-2019 I still have these although now I'm really looking to trade someone for a set of rear surrounds to match my front and side 83's. RS62's maybe? Also looking to pick up an AVR with Preouts. Maybe Denon x3300 etc. I bought them back in about 2002 and never asked original owner any specific details about them. Appear to be all original. Edited April 19, 2016 by bop29291 Update Listing
Moderators Youthman Posted April 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2016 I believe you have the first version of the Heresy in Birch Raw finish. Best wishes with the sale.
ZEUS121996
Im pretty sure those are Heresy 2s. They didnt use that tag on the 1s and those are from

Im pretty sure those are Heresy 2s. Note that drivers are mounted on rear of motor board as apposed to front mounted like HII's. Oh, and plywood construction. Woofers and Tweeters
Doesn't the Heresy II's mid horn have a crecsent cutout that the woofer nests in? And, how are the wires terminated? I think the 2s moved from the screw (stud / nut) binding post to a recessed square or round box with the red and black banana post. Moderators Youthman Posted April 19, 2016 Moderators Share Posted April 19, 2016 (edited) I would assume Heresy II would be labeled like this Edited April 19, 2016 by Youthman
BillWojo
I believe these are referred to as Heresy 1.5, a transition model between the 1 and 2 model. Mine were built in 1983, the drivers mount on the back of the motorboard and have the older style SN. The horns are made of plastic instead of metal, making mine Heresy 1.5 also. Lot's of info around here on these. BillWojo

Heresy 1's have the horns and woofers attached to the back of the motor board. And only H1's have a removable back panel.
