Full Range
This band from the 70s shares the same name with a different more famous classical / rock / jazz band that formed later by classical guitarist John Williams This three piece band from Detroit only released 2 albums However the drummer left shortly after the first album and was replaced The bass / vocalist later went on to form the famous band The Knack The album I am spinning is the debut album and is very listenable, presented in a pop / rock genre but not mushy Artist - Sky Title - Don’t Hold Back US pressing - Released 1970 Cat # LSP4457 2

JohnJ
Contrary to what the uninformed fella in another thread thinks (bangs-head smiley), I won't waste time there. Records reproduce better sound than cds unless they're scratched up & abused or played on a sub-par rig. Not bad for `73...

Its also proven that the full sound spectrum is recorded on an LP and stops short on CDs Think I posted a video sometime back with the tests

Full Range
Now it’s time to spring into some jazz fusion @Tigerman would enjoy this Cuban infused prog / jazz fusion sound This album is the only album this artist has released under his own name but has participated over 100 recordings with other artists A highly regarded percussionist - and this primarily instrumental release is simply amazing from start to finish I am very lucky to have this album in my collection The back cover describes the genre as ( see photo ) Artist - Mingo Lewis Title - Flight Never Ending

WillyBob
and techniques lost. we have an heirloom donut recipe from my greatgrand ... we cannot make it work. Her handwriting is rather difficult to decode and there were virtually no instructions.

Bread isn't bread anymore, it's awful. Have to make cornbread with bacon grease to get the texture right, fatback makes it too salty. We would like to have it without the bacon flavor again but alas.... no crappy cornbread allowed in this southern home! Lays potato chips "Can't Eat Even One" "They" removed all the saturated fat from Crisco...... all baked goods are history.. texture, flakiness...blah! Waking up hurtin' makes me a grouch. More coffee, 14 oz first cup didn't touch it today. Music makes it easy to set that aside. Especially from a quasi ZZ type band!! @WillyBob That Cactus is fun times tunes!! 2
WillyBob
Crisco is fake lard. Same as margarine to butter. Just use lard. and it is better for you than crisco Happy to start yer day right. I get up hurting. I know I'm still alive. Some days, I feel so alive that I can barely move.
JohnJ
Thanks man, and yea I've bookmarked that band already. Three dudes in the dark raincoats made me think of Billy, Dusty and Frank before I pressed play! Started getting a list of music on the pc recently, it's cheaper than records and discs!! The unhealthiness (dietary fat or cholesterol content?) of lard was why we used Crisco back in the day. Plus we do not fry that much anymore just chicken, squash, okra. So buying that huge three gallon tub of lard at the grocery stores that carry it doesn't make sense for us.
