Good evening vinyl spinners!

'Bout time I opened a brand new LP from Sound Stage Direct.  Enjoying right now over in RTM...

Here are some new photos as I listen...

Front cover art from this LIVE Bill Evans Trio LP on the Riverside label 180 gram....   The perfect companion recording to the Village Vangaurd recordings from 1961.   This was recorded at Shelly's in LA. LIVE in 1963.....excellent sound via tubes and Klipschorns tonight :emotion-21:DSCN9841.jpg

Gary ,   I was going to pick out ...and send Bill Evans and a Mingus

Vinyl....

But as you know you received...something different....

I wasn't sure what you had in the vinyl vault.... But I knew what

You did not have....

Talking to all of y'all that the temp is hovering around 80 F right now!!

Free time on my hands and dropped by the record store up at the blvd today. This LP has a 50's vibe fun basic Rock&Roll.

Clean LP $6.00 could not resist, this isn't their best... but it's better than a lot of bands ever did!

More Southern harmonies in these two (three) LPs These guys have too many records for me to amass left a couple in bad shape in the racks.

Lol, Saw them in Lakeland, Florida along with Canned Heat, Melanie, etc....They played at night at this outdoor event there. Champagne Jam just about stole the show. It was around 78. Temp was more like around 100 ...ARS an easy to listen to band.

Funny, the relentless pain in my ribs and the politics of that darn dr. that won't give me a pain Rx worth a damn. Seriously, when two 500mg bayer work better than the Rx throw the f'n Rx out!! Like I did. So my mellow only dips to a certain degree.... Fleetwood Mac, Little Feat, ARS, Grover Washington Jr. and a few more.

Like Ronnie Hammonds vocals, so fitting for this kind of music.

And...  if you spotted the jaundiced image of the recognizable face above that Wet Willie record and thought "Crazy Love" you were right. The new very good sounding lp I picked up today is a way old release, and actually timeless!!

Believe it or not this next record is a melding of folk with  prog leanings from 1978

A truely beautiful sound that incorporates the harp and other traditional instruments

But alas - it’s most likely that not many people know of or remember them

Artist - Robin Williamson and his Merry Men

Title - American Stonehenge

US pressing

Cat # FF062
