I dunno, but I'm starting to like that @Tim Sr. dude.  He's showing potential and could become another red-headed step brother in here.     😂   💪  😂

HA HA HA! Yeah all that RED! went gray in my late 40's! Gray went white in the early 60's LOL

What comes after White??? nahh don't answer that!

It is going to be a few more days here before the Vinyl hits a platter, some extensive rewire work happening.

I read earlier @JohnJ about getting things back, and I have to hurt with ya on that. I will only say when I gave up on that reality, it began to happen :) after almost 20 years! I have to admit how wonderful it feels to push that power switch!! ( feels more grand with speaker wires in mouth (the bare parts) especially if I forgot to turn the volume down.

Hang in there @JohnJ I have faith for you.

... Might have to move the Dual at least and hook that up from a table or somethi........ I NEED MORE SPACE!!! sorry got out of control there.

Yea, the road to red.  You got it but don't tell anyone they haven't figured it out yet.  Give 'em time.   :)

Welcome back but most of us never took a pause for the cause whatever that may be.  It only took me 1 CD to realize the difference.  I applied "Just Say NO!

@Travis In Austin pretty much nailed it.  "I have to tell you man. In listening to sound, I guess what I'm after is the closest thing that I can get to reality. Now, I know it's not going to be reality, cause the thing gotta go through wires and gotta go through filters and this and that. I understand all that. But what I really like is to get as close to the natural sound of the instruments as possible. That's why I like analog as opposed to digital. Because I don't give a shit what anybody tells you man, I know what you guys are going to tell me...'Oh yeah, but it's clean Ray!' Well it's clean but it don't got no balls!!!" - 1999 interview with Ray Charles

I ran it through my spin clean. I watched the glue clean method on YouTube. Might be the perfect record to try glue clean with.

OK now that we have had some side splitting laughs

This is a new Tubular Bells LP that sounded dull even after ultrasonic cleaning

So I decided to give a gum glue clean - Have a look at the colour of the glue on a white background
