If the mechanical adjustments and alignments of turntable, cartridge and arm have been made correctly, even the simplest turntable and cartridge can bring joy. All the adjustments are interrelated. Thought I would take a minute to check things out here. Oh, and thanks for the 'Kiri' spelling / correction.......yikes ! I have the WYWH album which is wonderful!, however, the LP packaging is a pain in the arse to unravel with that black plastic 'bag' they have as an outer cover jacket!
