wvu80
That is a gorgeous finish no doubt, but those are Cornwall I, for $3500. On the used market in good condition a regular Cornwall I goes for about $828, Cornwall II $945 and Cornwall III $1850. The Buyer can decide for himself. teaman
I call that the disco finish. Could you imagine a strobe light in the room with those...

Schu
Those are well done for sure... not sure I like the book matching on the tops and sides though. Price... they are high, but I bet that price is negotiable.
J M O N
I've owned the Cornwall I and they are awesome! I've also owned Cornwall II and don't find much difference between the two, so I don't consider the Cornwall I to be inferior. Price is high for used Cornwalls, but if you had them professionally refinished with that veneer (and from the photos, the work appears to be of high quality), plus the Crites crossovers, you might end up in the same price neighborhood. Of course, everyone has to decide what price works for them, but these are certainly attractive. I actually kinda like the "book matching" finish as it gives some symmetry. avguytx
Nice veneer work but I'm not sure I could live with the veneer going opposite directions on both speakers.
Thaddeus Smith
I met these guys last year when I was parting out my old beater cornwalls. They picked up the woofers and mids from me. They're a cabinet shop business with a moderate interest in Klipsch and a great appreciation of B.Crites. They told me at the time that they were planning to do a bunch of high end rebuilds, but so far I've only seen these Cornwalls and a pair of Heresy's earlier this year. I think they're trying to mirror Volti presentation, but aren't really putting much attention on the insides and instead just slapping on some veneer and doing some funky color combinations, replacing what needs to be replaced with Crites parts. Again, really nice Father/Son duo, but I think they're going after a market that just doesn't really exist.
J M O N
Price has gone down... https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/ele/d/klipsch-cornwalls/6471001141.html

Reminds me of prism tape, similar to what is used on fishing lures &/or trolling spoons. Purposely done to "hook" a buyer?
DizRotus
Thanks @JMON for including a photo in your alert. They look very nice, but I fear @Thaddeus Smith could be correct about the market for such speakers. Clearly, this is not the crowd to pay that kind of money for early Cornwall’s, no matter how good looking. But, it takes only one person to value the cosmetic enhancement to a fundamentally sound speaker.
