avguytx
Ken definitely does some fine work without a doubt. He has for as long as I can remember being that he grew up in Searcy before moving away. My first pair of car speakers were built by him and had a 6.5" woofer and a phenolic tweeter in the, from what I recall. Sounded great back in '82 in the hatchback of my AMC Spirit (not Pacer). I hated that car my granddad bought but at least I had some good tunes!

I will wet sand these and then steel wool/wax them to a smooth finish

TFR1
@longdrive03 Your workmanship is enviable! Could you tell me what type of black paint you used? The finish and details are superb.🤗 Jerry
longdrive03
Yo TFR1! Thanks for the compliment. I tried to use Rustoleum Satin Black spray can pain but HD didn't carry satin. I actually used Krylon Satin spray paint and it worked fine. I read somewhere that Klipsch used Red Devil Satin black but I don't think it is made (at least under that name) anymore.
