Are We Already Living in Virtual Reality?

Years ago while being transported to a worksite with a couple of whippersnappers I got tired of their discussion of Heaven and Hell. I finally asked how either of them knew for certain that we were not already dead and in Hell. End of discussion. And yes, I was ready for retirement.

That's funny, but I think if it were heaven we wouldn't be getting this old this fast ?

I tend to believe, or at least not so skeptical with stories like this or many things anymore. The reason is because I seen something about 23 years ago that's not supposed to exist in normal thinking. It was a ghost, I seen it 12' from me and for about 5 seconds as clear as could be.  Since then I question some things much less than before I seen it. When you see something like this it makes you realize there are things we just don't know or understand and it changes the way you think. There is no question, I know what I seen, it was not one of those maby it could have been this or that.

There are some things we don't have a clue about why or how.

I have seen and heard things from the spirit world, not sure if they were from heaven or hell, this life or the afterlife or if religion has anything to do with it at all, inter-dimensional maybe? All I can say is I believe there is something out there beyond us.

Thanks for sharing the article, I'm about half way through it very interesting!

Finally completed it. Personally, wouldn't be surprised if downloading our consciousness to such a VR system before physical death doesn't happen before we actually solve aging. I have experienced OBE's, both as a child and as an adult. I have also spoken with others that have had them. It's hard to control one's panic at being outside the body, and the normal response is to "crash" back into the body in a panic.

He's certainly dead on about VR being something society will have a very hard time adjusting to. If you think gamers disappear for hours now, just what until VR is the norm. Some will prefer it to "reality." But, as the article suggests, it all may be VR anyway.
