My Support Experience - Is This Typical?

Hello Folks,

I'm super excited to have found several really good deals on some Klipsch factory refub speakers during a 48 hour sale on the Klipsch website the second weekend in April!  I can't wait to get them, or find out when they are going to ship at least...

 

I had made a mistake when placing the order and purchased a wireless center channel with no wired capability, this was a problem as I don't intent to have a wireless setup with these speakers.  The same day I placed the order I put in a support ticket to have the center channel removed from my order leaving a subwoofer, floor speakers, and bookshelves to be processed.

 

The support ticket has been a disgraceful ball of confusion with whomever is answering them not reading the questions I'm submitting and not answering what I'm asking.  I thought I was being punk'd for a couple of days but sadly I'm not...

 

Long story short, I'm 6 business days in with only 1 item shipping and that's the item I didn't want, which by the way shipped immediately of course.  Despite multiple requests the support representative still hasn't provided confirmation that the rest of my order is coming and completely ignored the question of when it will ship.

 

My question for the people here, is this normal?  This is my first time buying from the Klipsch website and it's been one I won't soon forget...

    Great thanks for the feedback on the center channel.

    Please provide status on the floor speakers, sub-woofer, and bookshelf speakers. I'd like you to confirm that order is still process and when they are expected to ship. Thanks.

    In addition to the last update to this support case I made, see the picture from your website showing RCA ports on thus subwoofer I ordered.

    I see you have moved the status to solved, I do not consider this as solved as I'm not clear on what you are shipping me, please confirm.

    If there are questions someone can call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX to discuss as the dialog in this support message has been nothing but confusing.

    I DO WANT the subwoofer speaker shipped to me. Pictures on the Klipsch website show RCA ports on this component and the internet confirms this speaker can be used in a wired fashion using those RCA ports.

    I DO NOT WANT the Center channel as it doesn't have wired capability.

    Lastly, please confirm when I should expect the remaining components on my order will be shipped by line item. I want to make sure this confusion doesn't result in Klipsch withholding items I do want to purchase.

    You keep saying subwoofer but I think you mean center channel. The subwoofer has RCA ports and I have not received notification that the subwoofer has shipped. Please double check and confirm.

    Hi,

    That is correct. There is no adapter available to accommodate this subwoofer into a wired setup. We are requesting to have this returned for a refund.

    Hello,
    Just to be clear, I want the subwoofer, it has RCA ports and can be used in a wired fashion.  I would like to cancel the center channel as it has no ability to work in wired mode.  Can you confirm your understanding?

    That wireless subwoofer has shipped from the warehouse already, but  we are requesting for it to be returned so that we can issue a refund.

    Hello,
    I need to eliminate the "RP-440WC Wireless Center Channel Speaker Klipsch® Certified Factory Refurbished" from my order, please.  I'm making this change because when I purchased the center channel I believed that I could use a speaker wire for the input.  I have since learned that it is only used in a wireless fashion which doesn't work for me.
     
    I would like to continue to receive the remaining items on the order.
     
    My request would be that the $149 + appropriate sales tax be credited back to my credit card.
     
    Please confirm if this is possible, thank you.

I'm working my butt off (from home) in the middle of this pandemic!  Klipsch took my money and then communicated like absolute crap.  If I had been told that due to the pandemic we will have more info for you in 2 weeks, I would have been fine with that.  Today I received feedback that my whole order has been cancelled because the items are not available.  What a poor experience, I guess I will spend my money somewhere else.
