And brought up memories listening to them again

 

But I was still drawn to progressive rock, and that has never left me to this day

Ya got that right!  lol  It would take a bit of digging but I've got all those.  This is kinda like what I was talking about last week Duke.  Just pluckin a few that will hit home and resonate w/some of us curmudgeon's.  BTW, are you standing in my yard?  You're as bad as the kids around here.  😂

I see Billy making the kind of a U-Turn I do in here sometimes.

I second that tonight:

 

It's a short <40 min LP but it's Purple with Tommy Bolin and David Coverdale! Yea I like the other lineup better, but this is a good one too!

Give it a listen, Most Underrecognized Guitar Wizard of the 70s...

But not by me and my friends back then!

His LPs have different sounds to almost every song on them, from shades of JIMI to jazz guitar.
