The USA is correct is closing our borders right now, there is an actual threat and a real reason to do so. China - I am so disappointed in them. After the cover up they just can't let it go. Calling this the 'Chinese Virus' is totally wrong, the Chinese responding by spreading lies that this started here is just as disgusting and both sides of this argument are vile and each using the "dictator playbook.". Politicizing this for local advantage is every bit as disgusting as the rest you point out. Does anyone think in their right mind that one mayor spouting off somehow "caused" the epidemic there which became a pandemic? I know you probably don't, but just take a gander at some of the crap being spewed here, and if it is here, imagine how much worse it is on less intelligent communication platforms... I am not on any other forums and I am trying to be careful here. I did not see the comment on the mayor until you pointed this out Chinese specialist went to Italy to help. This is what we all are supposed to do. Share knowledge in fighting this. BTW, they were shocked to see what they saw. Stating that Italy was not taking enough steps to keep this under control, pointing out "why isn't everyone wearing masks?" Italy has actually done more then the USA... I am upset with the Chinese government, not its doctors or people. Their response to the man child's naming of this as the "Chinese Virus" in an attempt to play the blame game is a child's response. The Chinese Government should have taken the high road and issued a response stating that this is not appropriate, other countries have had similar outbreaks (remember mad cow), and that we are a world community and that they are there to provide information and help. Sinking to the level of blaming the USA, by Iran's Govt and the Chinese Govt is just sinking to the lowest level playing the same game. It is also harming innocent people in Iran. I know Iranians who live here and are my friends and business owners and contribute to our society.
