jcmusic
I was just wondering if anyone here has tried this and if so what were the results? It seems to me that the 402 horn is an improvement over the original horns used in the Khorns? Anyway I am just curious about this in terms of sound quality. The Dude
I know its been done, Not knowing the exact depth of the K402 assembly and depth of the Khorn, you might run into a situation where the K402 could push the Khorn out away from the corner. I bet the Celestion drivers will help with a better crossover point.
babadono
@Delicious2? didn't you do this for a while? Sorry if I am mistaken/not recalling correctly.
babadono
the BMS 4592 coax would be able to get down low enough for the KHorn bin as well.

Truer words never been spoken. Or in this case posted on a forum. The question mark is not needed.

So don't the volti upgrades/horns sound pretty darn good? They have to be better more pleasing to your ears than the K400/401.

Marvel
Isn't the UJ only 24" deep? The Khorn cabinet is 28", correct? The K-402 is really a shallow horn.

babadono
So are you going to try the BMS mid on the 402 and still use a separate tweeter?

I'm running the 4590 Coax on the K402 on top of a Belle bass bin with good results. I think they could be better, but its sounds pretty good.
