bkrop
He forgot to add, "if you are not an audiophile, please do not bid"!
No Disc
Man, I feel so misguided. I never knew my Klipsch speakers were C r a p? Now I'm going to have to sell my entire setup and start over.... I feel cheated. - tb
mark1101
I like how he grouped both Bose and Klipsch together as crap. Apparently, 95% of all speaker owners have purchased crap. I kinda like my crap.
JohnWhite
---------------- The Arcus is a smaller version of the Eidelon and retailed for $7695. Check the reviews on the web and you will find that the Arcus is a bargain at almost $8K and competes with anything at twice the price. This ain't no Bose or Klipsch crap. These are high end speakers ---------------- Its always good to know that there are those people that have more money than brains!
burtlively
man i wish i could get some speakers with 89 dB sensitivity. oh wait a minute, i forgot. my "crap" has a MINIMUM 96 dB sensitivity. i guess that means i could drive my "crap" with a clock radio. Strabo
I've never shipped speakers before, but $400??? Isn't that a lot of handling charges?
michael hurd
Some people equate high cost = good sound. The sad fact is that most of these yuppies wouldn't know good sound from bad sound. If cost was quality, the good dr. amar must be cranking out great room filling surround sound from just two speakers. Wait... isn't that his marketing campaign..? Good2BHome
A real advertising genius. They were previously listed with a starting bid of 2995.00, a BIN price of 3375.00 and with no negative comments about Klipsch or Bose. Result ZERO bids. So our budding advertising genius lowers the starting bid to 995.00 with an unknown Reserve (2995.00 I'd bet) and diss Klipsch and Bose in the title to get more hits in peoples searches. Let's see what happens.
Rudy81
Well that does it! I'm getting rid of all my stuff and buying his speakers!!!
Ray Garrison
Avalon. Gotta luv'em. Their line does go up in range from the Eidolon. For example, your basic 910 Lb speaker...
JohnWhite
You know, those speakers kinda remind me of an old robot on the Dr. Who Tv series.
Doc Robin
I think they would make nice plant stands; or you could put some carpet on the and use them for cat scratching posts. KLIPSCH ROCKS THE WORLD AND ARE THE BENCH MARK FOR ALL OTHERS. Bill

mike stehr
One of you must have gave him a big ration of poo. He has a sentence now that apologizes about the slam on Klipsch. I guess Bose Doesn't deserve one.
