colterphoto1
On a personal note, I was recently interviewed for the Professional Photographers of New England monthly journal. Although I live in the midwest, I belong to this professional society because they have a fantastic school that I attend every year. It also gets me an annual trip to New York City! http://www.ppane.com/NewsletterFiles/PPANEJanuary05.pdf Acrobat document- my writeup is on Page 12. dodger
It's too bad that it seems as if we all need to put ourselves down. Or that if we say that we can do something well, we're on an ego trip. You have the talent, it was recognized by your peers. That's an honour. Thanks for sharing it. dodger

scott0527
Hey that great Michael. Nice profile. Get this month's issue of FHM. There is a spread on Monty Python's Holy Grail, full of interesting tidbits about the filming.
garymd
Congrats Michael! No need to be modest around here. We're like family, remember? Great accomplishment. You SHOULD be bragging! BTW - I'm more of a "Life Of Brian" kind of guy although they're both great.

But this about Michael, sorry for the interruption.
nicholtl
Good sh!t, Michael. It's always good to see fellow members succeed on the up and up. Kind of lifts all our spirits up, collectively.

Frank Speaker
Right on, thanks for sharing that. Thats good exposure (so to speak)
colterphoto1
Yeah DrWho, dats me. I'd rather have a photo of me interacting with my subjects than the typical 'posed' yeech headshot. That's what I look like on the job. If you smile at people, they will smile back. (yeah, put that on my headstone)LOL Michael
Cal Blacksmith
Very cool! Nice shot of you too! It is ok to blow your own horn after all it IS your horn and no one else will blow it for you! Congrats
fini
Very cool, Michael! I can relate to the part about "growing up" (as we've talked about before). Is that shot gonna be your new avatar? Too bad they didn't ask your favorite place to "wile away the hours" on the internet...
picky
Congratulations, Michael. It's always nice to get some recognition from your peers.
Tom Adams
Pretty cool Michael. I'm with fini though - they should have asked you about your favorite internet sites for (ahem) research. BTW, I hate to tell you this, but we've met before. I was the kid you had to use the pink bunny on to get me to smile. Seriously though, it's always a good feeling being recognized for a contribution. Money is a sugar high. A sincere public recognition is priceless and lasts much, much longer.
