Jeff Matthews
No kids yet. I'm the youngest of 5 (4 boys and a girl). I have 2 nieces and 8 nephews. I've seen all my siblings screw up their kids. [] Now, I've got it figured out.

It's not always reasoning and belief in ability - sometimes you need quick, instinctual responses. See how he hit that screen? [] (I'm killing me... []) That kid's gonna be a fighter! I think it was a classic "fight-or-flight" reaction caused by terror. He hit or pushed at the screen and then ran for safety (that wasn't provided). His facial expressions and gestures were not those of a kid that just had a little boo-boo. Mostly, it was his sobbing that got to me - he was horrified, part of his world just exploded in his face. I don't think he's better for the experience.

BobbyT
You know what would be really funny?? To watch the video of the kids real dad showing the jerk stepdad what it really feels like to terrified for his life. That would be hysterical. Indeed that would be hilarious. Even better will be the real dad taking this video/website into court at the next custody or child support hearing.

You just have to read several times and think hard for about 10 minutes. The kid set his step dad/cameraman up (reverse psychology of our normal reaction) , ala MTV punked scenario (don't know about this MTV punked thing) , an carbon units, are all experiencing transference, in more ways than one (all the world's a stage, and we are merely players, performers and portrayers []), you've been punked too (the stage includes us), motive kid wants interaction ,an not to be a cog of dads baby boomer toys (kid wants dad to spend some time with him doing kid's things),older carbon units are given newer carbon units, to purify older polluted carbon units (dad's have kids to de-tox themselves from the trappings of adulthood), chaos causing older carbon unit order (the episode all brings together the natural order of things) Brilliant! colterphoto1
Nice decode job there. MTV punked is a modern 'candid camera' of sorts, where people are put into humiliating situations. Carbon units of course are us. Now exxxxxxxhaaaaaale, that's it.... all better now? M

colterphoto1
If I spoke prose you'd all find out I don't know what I talk about. I find those total mind blowing stream of consciencness thoughts rather invigorating to read. Its all good entertainment. They're best read at about 4 am though.
