darylomer12
I'll check out Gerry if you check out Alexander. Before you agree, please realize that Alexander is 3 hours. Funny you ask. I just saw the movie "Gerry" today. The absolute worst movie ever made. There is actually a scene in the movie where they show Matt Damon and Casey Affleck just walking in the desert for about 7-8 minutes. Please someone watch this movie so you know what a horrible movie is. Another movie i can't stand is "Four Brothers". I could go on, but these are the two that stick out the most....... Tripod, you have a deal. I will rent "Alexander" this weekend. Forgive me if i am wrong, but isn't Alexander an action movie about Alexander The Great? You see, even though the movie is probably three hours long, i am thinking there are some pretty good fight scenes with some great Sound Effects.[]
firedawg24
I have to say that I have never walked out of a movie until recently and that was for Miami Vice. What a load of celuoid crap, I can usually enjoy, or at least find something mildly entertaining, almost all movies, but this was just god awful. Albeit that I didn't stay fro the whole movie so it might have gotten better. Just to give an example of how bad it was the following line was actually used: "If you can't do the time, don't mess with crime" Another movie that I rented and couldn't finish was Hoodwinked great actors/voices but horrible story. jacksonbart
I would like to see 'Thunderpants' with Paul Giamati. The plot is "An 11-year-old boy's amazing ability to break wind leads him first to fame and then to death row, before it helps him to fulfill his ambition of becoming an astronaut." kelA
The worst movie I have seen would have to be 'SuperFuzz'. It starred Terrence Hill (from those early Spaghetti Westerns), and Ernest Borgnine. It was released sometime early 80's. The plot went something like this: Hill- plays a cop who is exposed to red dust during a nuclear explosion in the desert. This exlosion does not kill him, but instead gives him super powers (mind control, able to leap buildings, the usual crap). His only weakness was when he saw the color red- which would render him powerless. You can just about imagine all the crazy crap he would get into, and need those special powers, but wouldn't you know it- there would be something red in the room, and then he was a normal human. Definately one of those big budget movies that took 10's of dollars to make. I am not sure if it is still in circulation or not.
tripod
No wait, I would be really upset if you spent money to rent this! I caught it on HBO, do you have that? I'll look for Gerry. I'll check out Gerry if you check out Alexander. Before you agree, please realize that Alexander is 3 hours. Funny you ask. I just saw the movie "Gerry" today. The absolute worst movie ever made. darylomer12
Lol.... I will borrow the movie from my brother. He has quite a collection and i know he has Alexander. I will watch it this weekend. I will give my honest review of the movie(if i make it through it all). I feel the same about "Gerry". But then again, it is almost worth the money to see what an awful movie it is. I usually like most movies with Matt Damon. One of my all time favorite movies is "Goodwill Hunting". Anyway, i look forward to hearing your review of "Gerry". By the way, i don't have HBO anymore since the Sapranos are no longer on. AWSOME SERIES......... Daryl
Malcolm
Absolute worst movie of all time has to be Plan 9 From Outer Space. And Jerry Seinfeld agrees with me. It was produced and directed by Ed Wood, one of the most incompetent, but driven, people in Hollywood. The budget was so small they couldn't afford a robot costume, so they used a gorilla suit and a diving helmet. Day and night shots are interspersed in the same scene. Clips of Bela Lugosi from another production are edited into it. Another very different looking actor adds more footage for Lugosi's character. Flying saucers wobble on strings. The list goes on and on... Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a close second IMHO...
Shade
Oh yea some movie about 2 weed heads standing outside a convenience store, I watched it but it was stupid. Sounds like Clerks. Martin the Vampire
Manos: The Hands of Fate..... Made in El Paso in 1966 for 19 grand. A family vacation goes bad when they make a wrong turn, and end up at a lodge run by a man named Torgo. He is supposed to be a Satyr, but just has big knees. He repeats lines all the time, and Torgo's music is the best part of the movie. Family decides to stay at the lodge, until the Master finds out, and he and his ghoul wives wake up from the dead to get the family. BTW Manos is Spanish for Hands. The Incredibly Strange Creatures That Stopped Living And Became Mixed-up Zombies.... Can't remember when it was made, but it is about 2 guys and a girl that go to the local carnival, visit a hoodoo fortune teller, who has zombies in a cage. One guy stays at the carnival to watch a girl show, but ends up a zombie. Some of the films on the Imdb list I've seen, but as Mystery Science Theater 3000 versions. Oh yeah I forgot one!! Hard Rock Zombies... A rock group stays at a place, bass player learns the devil's tri-tone (or whatever). When played it will bring the dead back to life. Anyway the group plays at this place, only to be killed by Hitler and the other people living at the place, and the band get revenge as zombies. Martin the Vampire
I'll add one more while I'm on a roll. [6]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The Final Sacrifice... Made in Canada. Its about a 16 year old kid who looks and sounds like Pee-Wee Herman. The kid researches about a cult and ancient civilization called Ziox, that his father was killed for. The kid ends up running away from the cult, joins up with a man named Zap Rousdower, and then finds this Ziox nation with the help of a Yosemite Sam character named Mike Pipper. RickB
I've seen some really bad movies through the years, but I'm going to go with current stinkers. I thought Elf might be the worst movie I ever saw until I saw Narnia. What a load of crap that was. I don't think I've ever seen children in a movie that I disliked as much as the 4 kids in that movie.

rplace
I am shocked my all time worst has not been mentioned yet. ISHTAR. I don't even know where to start that POS was just plain bad. ChopChop
Ok, you guys are pretty good but the worst movie of all times has to be... Drum roll please... Punch Drunk Love with Adam Sandler. Two things stick out in my memory of this movie. One - I remember not knowing that I was actually watching the movie and not some cheezy advertisement for about the first 10 minutes. I don't recall them ever even putting the name of the movie on the screen. Must have been pretty bored with it. And Two - I've never been to a movie that had about 1/3 of the crowd leave the movie before the first 20 minutes of the movie had shown. It was BAD !! Shade
dtel, Anything Mel Brooks is hilarious in my book. If you haven't seen it yet, check out The Producers. I've only seen the recent remake, but it was great. If nothing else, watch it for the "springtime for hitler" performance. Sorry for going off topic a bit.
