Looks like the 2 R2R decks will be going to The Analogue Store for repairs and maybe upgrading. About a 2 hour drive. One deck is 43 years old. I have heard from a tech that replacing the heads with Pioneer heads is a good move. Will have to price that. If he does good work I may have him recap the Quicksilver preamp from the early 90s. Then to take a listen to the free EPI speakers.....6 points

And now for something completely different. I live on a corner lot. The better half and I walked over and visited with the neighbors yesterday and we hadn't been around the corner for awhile. Seems the rains this year have washed a bunch silt and debris out onto the road because the water decided not to use the culvert under the road and went a different way. So I am on clean up detail today. And see if I can't get the water to use the culvert. All this of course after a couple cups o' joe and a hearty breakfast.6 points

.....original outdoor fungus! We even HAD some of that on our roof! (bad stuff) and I can see small versions of that on the maple tree in our back 40 as I type !! But they are neat formations for sure4 points

While dismantling the Christmas tree, the wife noticed this snowflake-like formation. I told her, "I'm lichen that."4 points

Kitchen is definitely the most expensive. Our bathroom wasn't cheap either but we pretty much gutted it to the studs and started over.4 points

I just looked at the rating for Earthquake, not very good. Sometimes even the biggest names in the biz won't help a bad plot and terrible writing. You and BSM probably could've helped that movie I watch Charlton Heston is Soylent Green a while back, it was so cheesy it almost seemed like a comedy. We are riding the weather rollercoaster here, 60 and rain today....down to 12 tomorrow night.4 points

Good Monday morning gang 38 and Drizzle is starting for the next 5 days, according to our weather BS artist. Winter time projects on-going, more Rv parts ordered up, this is like remodeling a small house. Wife agrees with two year remodel plan for the Rv, we will always be spoiled hotel tourist, so NO biggie, NO hurry. Snow melts end of march then we start bailing outta here, snowing 15 miles east of here currently. Old guy next door made it into the new year. Still on hold for firing up anything audio, this will remain for awile. Coffee done, going for it......4 points

A fresh 2017 good afternoon Mates Zero functions planned for the day, and so far as long as it only involves moving a "Mouse" im good. Nap disturbed by neighborhood kid, wishing to enlarge mounting hole diameter in his header flanges. Bloody Mary time, and Nacho's, as usual Radiers lost their azz. Shopping for Rv vents (Floor), Chit plastic ones are garbage. Staying home and staying out of trouble. I Will be looking up all the new laws we here in Calif are subjected to by our SS commander who approves/signs everything4 points

Alright, good enough. Is that young guy's name Justin Beaver? Of a sudden getting some interest in my CL listings. Edit: Well that was sillybob. Front tire flat so changed to a decent donut. Went to PO and thought it odd no cars in parking lot. It hit me, of a sudden...holiday. Oh well, let them off for a day then...3 points

Gonna be an ugly game. Both teams suck at quarterback and are on second or third stringers. If you like defense, this will be the game of the week.3 points

Dang, didn't know they could be that big. Scary really! Was just thinking of you. Not wanting to embarrass anyone about the exotic game they have eaten but straightout, has anyone here had it for a meal?3 points

Figure it was readily edible. Wow, alright, you have already answered my question. Tasty!3 points

I won't touch the "beaver" comment either! One of my favorite TV shows Mountain Men, showed Tom, the guy from Montana and the guy up in Alaska eating beaver. They both claimed it was very tasty.3 points

Nope just black swirls from the stuff that grows on it from being wet so much. You have to pressure wash it from time to time to keep it decent.3 points

Carl...nice pool area, is that decorative concrete? Looks good.3 points

The sun room was originally outside before it was enclosed so there was an exterior sliding glass door there. I've removed it and tweaked the opening so the French door wI'll fit. The boxes are glue down tongue and groove bamboo flooring. The bedroom will eventually get gutted and we'll redo from ceiling paint to flooring. Our house was built in 75 and we're slowly going room to room and remodeling.3 points

Don't you just love home improvement projects? I do. Is that a new door opening, or enlarging a previous door? Are those boxes of wood flooring?3 points

Yes good morning y'all. Is that a Domeniker cock crowing? Miss rooster's crowing in the middle of the night. Day Of The Animals starring Leslie Neilson is recc. for watching him gone wild... Dang, looks like a real wolf somewhat... Guess 8')'Clock still have beans? Too many questions I have of late...so early in the new year...3 points

Good morning on New Years Day special government holiday edition. It's a sunny unseasonably warm day in Southeast Michigan; most of the snow has melted. Missing the last of the 8 O'Clock Colombian whole bean. The LavAzza Qualita Rossa whole bean doesn't compare. Is there a post that lists good sources of whole bean Colombian coffee?3 points

It is 100% worth your time. These are all young people, under 21 who play world class brass and percussion. They compete against other corps in a nationwide summer tour, ending up in DCI Championships in Indianapolis in August. Phantom is a 2-time world champion and always at or near the top. Phantom has an annual concert in the park in June to kick off the drum corps season. It might be in Love's Park, not sure. The brass will melt your face off with the sound, and it's an all classical program. Very loud, very exciting. Klipsch speakers were made for drum corps. Only a horn speaker can reproduce a brass horn faithfully.3 points

I love it too, especially since I've never seen all 3 side by side like that. I really wanted to keep them all in the living room but not a chance with the wife. Oh well....it was fun while they lasted.2 points

Steve we have movie stardom in common. I was in the first episode of Eastbound and Down. My speaking part was yelling obscenities at the pitcher. Did meet Brook Shields and hubby. My LA bud was one of the producers. Meals catered to all of us "stars"2 points
